Sylan nodded and leaned down to kiss Lanie on the cheek. He then straightened and walked back into Corison's room and kissed her cheek.

Corison stired, but didn't awaken when he kissed her cheek.She snuggled back dwon against the pillow.

Sylan stepped back out into the hallway. "Thanks David... you've been a good friend to her." He turned and headed for the elevator.

Mary Ann nodded. " well i'm going to head out too." she hugged the two teens. one who was her child and the other one just as close. " you two behave don't make the nurses mad." she teased. " cya in the morning." with that she headed for the elevator.

Lanie sighed and looked at David. " well..it's gonna be a long night i guess." she said looking at the clock. it was only midnight. " thanks for staying by the way." she said as she weeled herself back into the room.

Corson slept on blissfully unaware of the two people in her room.

Sylan told the nurce what Lanie planed to do then headed to his car. He planed to pick Lanie up the next day and take her over to the hotel. He climbed into his car and headed home, then climbed into bed. He was asleep before his head hit the pillow.

The night went on. David left at about 5 AM Lanie had been asleep 2 hours earlier. he took her to her room and put her in her bed. he went home and quietly went to his room and slept. <i> good thing tomorrow is saturday.</i> that was his last thought before falling fast asleep

Corison awoke the next morning to the beeping of a monitor. Her eyes fluttered open to see Dr. Morgan's smileing fave standing over her. "Dr. Morgan?" She asked looking around. "What are you doing here?"

Sylan stopped by the hospital on his way back from his early morning jog. He went up to Lanie's room and showered int the little bathroom before waking his sister up. He didn't feel like getting teased about smelling like a goat from sewating.

Lanie heard someone in the shower and woke up. she saw her brothers work out bag and knew it was him. she saw him walk out. " did you just come back from jogging?" she asked seeing that he was carrying out dirty clothes.

"Well you know they are going to make you sit in one on the way out, but after that, if you feel you can walk without it casing too much pain... go for it, if it hurts too much I'll cary you." He straightened and picked up his bag. Lanie's Dr. came in at that point and told her she was free to go.

Lanie sighed she was happy to be out of there. but now where should she go. she didnt feel like she was worthy enough to go back home, after the way she acted, she felt horrible. she wasnt ready to apologize though. when her and Sylan got into the car she said. " so uh, how long did you buy the hotel room for?" she asked figiting and looking at her feet.

Dr. Morgan chuckled and said, "I work here...and you are curently under my care. Now you just rest and you sould be able to go home in a couple of days." Corison's fever had broken during the night and a little color had returned to her cheeks.

Lanie nodded " ok." that was two days. she would stay there. she hoped maybe everything would be ok after that. she sighed. they got to the resturant and ate then headed twards the hotel when they got there. Lanie looked at Sylan. " well..um...thanks.." she said before opening her door. she didn't know what else to do or say.
