Shannon slowly stood up, but quickly held onto the side of her bed, so she wouldn't fall down. She bit her lower lip and sat down on the edge of the bed. Her head was pounding, her body was sore and she felt sick to the stomach.

A knock on Shannon's cell rang through the room. It opened with a creak and a pudgey institution woman worker walked toward her. "You will need this. That crap they put in your body with those shots will make you puke." She dropped a dirty rusted pale in front of her cot and then waddled out the cell door, shutting it behind her.

Once again, the sound of the deputy's feet could be heard coming down the hallway....but this time he was alone.
He unlocked the cell and stepped inside charismatically, "All right, Mr. Rainey, since you are being co-operative with us, I will escort you myself to the special room where you take medicine."

Dan freaked out and screamed twice. He hid under his cot without hesitation at the sight of the deputy. "No! Leave me alone! Please!" he pleaded.

Shannon looked down to the pale that the woman had given her. She sniffled a bit and wrapped her arms around herself, slowly. She was once again in the dark. She swallowed hard and started feeling that disguisting feeling of having to throw up.

He curled his lips into a cocky grin and brushed back his blonde hair.

Mr. Shooter told Nate to wait in the cell with Dan. Nate agreed and sat on the cot patiently. Of course, Shooter would follow Mort outside of the cell with the Deputy....for he was Mort Rainey.

Shannon started feeling the uneasy feeling in her stomach and the sudden dry throat that you get, when you feel the need to throw up. She held her stomach and groaned a bit. She started feeling a bit queasy and before she knew it, she was on the ground throwing up into the barf pail.

Mort signaled a goodbye hand to Dan and Nate before he disappeared out of the room.
He followed the Deputy down the hall, staring at the back of the man's head...the perfect target...

"I told you that you would be sick," the woman said to Shannon from the outside of the cell. "Once you're done, I'll take the pail away."

Shannon continued throwing up for a few moments and then stopped. She slowly sat up straight and held her stomach, in pain. "Ugh..." She groaned and wiped her mouth off. She leaned her back against the cot and stared up at the ceiling.

"That's right, Mr. Rainey," David said with a cheesy grin. He then proceeded to shut the door behind him.
He then motioned to the chair, "Please sit, Mr. Rainey. Now, we can make this difficult or easy. Either you can co-operate with me and I will not call the volunteer officers in here....or we can do this the hard way." He then pointed toward the straight jacket that hung on the wall across the room.

Shannon swallowed hard and took slow, deep breaths. "I'll be fine." She said to the woman in a hoarse voice. She had screamed too much, when she was with the Deputy, so her voice was leaving her.
