Escaping from all the joyous dancing, singing, talking, and laughing, Felicity slipped out onto one of the balconies away from everyone, and stared out towards the east. It's all so beautiful.. she thought to herself, before stifling a sigh that threatened to come out.

[Either one. I just tend to do that at parties, and someone usually pokes me in the back, grabs my arm, and pulls me into the festivities. I'm such a wallflower sometimes...until I get the mood to go. Anyway, enough rambling.]

Edmund walked toward the balconies, and spotted Felicity on one. He stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do, then decided to be brave and just walk up to her. "Er...hi," he said.

Felicity jumped slightly in surprise, then smiled slightly and looked at Edmund. "Hello..your Majesty.." she murmured, bowing her head slightly.

Peter, after disentangling himself from the festivities, began looking for Evelyn.

Edmund shook his head. "You don't need to do that. It's weird as it is," he said, slowly approaching her.

"As you wish.." Felicity murmured, looking back out towards the horizon.

Peter came across Evelyn after a few minutes, and walked up behind her quietly. "Why aren't you joining in the celebration, if I may ask?"

Evelyn jumped and saw Peter behind her. She exhaled in relief. "Sorry...I'm," she said awkwardly. She motioned to the view, "I was enjoying the scenery." She turned to him completely. "But, if Your Majesty wishes, I shall join you all," she said with a smile and a small inclination of her head.

Peter shook his head slightly. "No title, please..that's going to be hard enough to get used to, but hearing it from you would just be too strange.."

Evelyn smiled. "Alright, then. Would you still like me to join you, though?" she laughed.

She smiled back, and stepped forward.

Edmund finally spoke. "That was really brave of you, you know," he said.

Peter suddenly offered her his arm.

Felicity turned her head slightly and looked at Edmund. "What was?" she asked softly.

Evelyn's smile broadened as she took his arm.

Susan caught sight of the two of them, and smiled to herself.

Edmund looked down, then said, "Your fighting. What you did in that battle. I think that was brave."

Peter smiled, then began to lead her back to the Great Hall.

Felicity felt her cheeks reddened slightly, though it was only visible for a few seconds. "That wasn't really bravery..it was more a mix of anger and foolishness.."

"By the way, thanks," said Evelyn as they walked into the Great Hall.

Felicity shook her slightly, then sighed and rubbed the back of her neck lightly.

"For what?" Peter asked, looking at her.

She looked back at him, then said, "For everything. I mean, you've really tried to look after me through all of this...and I....kinda put my own life in jeopardy," she said, laughing slightly at the last part.
