Mort didn't need to glance at the straight jacket. No, he already had his mind set away from that thing.
"Sure Mister De'pu'tee...." His mouth curled into a toothy grin and he blinked lazy-like underneath the black frames.

The stocky woman opened Shannon's cell door and said, "Yeah, you might be fine, but I don't think you'd want to be smelling that in the morning." She then walked forward and picked up the pail.
"Here are some clothes for you to wear while you're in this ward," she said as she threw a pair of pants and a short sleeved shirt with a number printed on the back toward Shannon. "Put them on and then stick your other clothes by the door and I'll take them from you." The ward clothes were white and the number on the back was 24 with black color.

"Then why don't you sit down, Mr. Rainey," David said once again and gestured to the chair. He then proceeded to pick up that black suitcase from the floor and open it on the desk.

Shannon took a deep breath and looked down to the clothes that the lady had given her to wear. "T-Thank you..." She said softly and then swallowed hard. She slowly picked up the shirt and looked at it, sadly. What was she going to do?

Mort scraped the chair back and slowly sat down, letting out a sigh. "Will do Mister Dep'u'tee..."
He got comfortable and brought his shoes ontop of the table, crossing one of his legs.

The burly woman's footsteps could be heard disappearing down the hollow hallway, leaving Shannon alone in the darkness of her cell.

David smirked at Mort and then proceeded to take out all four shots. But these were much larger than Shannon's, probably because Mort was taller than her, so therefore, his body could consume more of the toxic liquid. "Now, I know that there are a lot of these, but believe me, you'll be feeling back to normal in no time," he lied.
The deputy then swaggered over to Mort's side and lifted up his sleeve. He pulled and extended Mort's arm straight, revealing the blue and purple veins that awaited to be punctured.

Shannon sighed deeply and started taking off her old clothes. They were still wet and were starting to stink. She sighed and tossed them to the other side of the cell. She then put on the newer clothes that the woman had given her. She didn't like the feel of them, but she had to get used to them sooner or later.

Mort's eyes shifted up towards the man who held the needle in hand, "Now, let's not think too fast on our feet 'ere Mister...lower that needle..."

The sound of the burly woman's footsteps could be heard coming back down the hall. She had been away for at least five minutes.

David looked at Mort with a raised eyebrow, "Excuse me?" He was beginning to become suspicious of Mort's tone, "Remember, Mr. Rainey, that we had an agreement about this. If you give me problems, you're going right back in that straight jacket."

Shooter smirked and looked to Mort calmly, "That's what he thinks."

Shannon looked down to her lap, when she heard the footsteps of the woman again. Well, at least she thought that it was the woman. She sighed and just remained on the cold floor. Feeling sick, feeling unable to do anything, feeling... alone.

The woman opened the cell door again and said, "Where are your other clothes? Didn't I tell you to put them by the door?" Her voice was raising and her body language became fierce.
She then trudged forward and pulled a baton from her belt and hit Shannon across her arm.

Shannon gasped in pain and then glared at the woman. "OW!" She yelled at her and then stood up. "I'll put my clothes wherever I feel like it." She hissed at her and then was about to hit the woman, but started feeling really woozy. She took one step forward and then she was out like a light.

"No, Mr. Rainey, things will become ugly for you, if you do not co-operate! This is your last warning!" David said as he grabbed Mort's arm once more.

The burly woman grinned at Shannon's helpless state. "Sure, ya will," she said to herself. Picking up Shannon's other clothes, she then kicked her limp frame rudely...just to get the satisfaction that she needed at that moment. "Stupid girl," she said as she shut the cell door behind her.

"Well, I'm sorry Mister De'pu'tee, but this ain't just gunna happen!" Shooter reached up, and in a split moments time he had grabbed David's hand that held the needle, and violently twisted it, snapping the arm bone in the process.

"Ugh!!!!" David gasped in pain at the sudden violent twisting of his arm. The needle in his hand fell to the floor and rolled a couple feet away from him. He craddled his injured arm and backed away from Mort, "Mr. Rainey! I order you to stop! Stop this instant!"

"It ain't gunna end, until either one of us is dead," said Shooter as he approached the Deputy.
