Ev suddenly gasped and jerked awake, then looked around and sighed, rubbing her forehead and eyes.
"Here..." said Edmund, reaching for one of the painkiller herbs. "Here you go...this might help."

Felicity turned and looked at him, then walked over and took the herbs he had offered. "After I take this..I need to go to sleep.."

"Yeah, sorry...just had a nightmare..." she said, still rubbing her eyes and the bridge of her nose. "No big deal," she said, straightening up and putting her book down, before yawning.

"All right.." Peter said.
"Thanks.." Felicity murmured, before taking the herb. She then went back over towards the window and sat down on the window seat, then stretched out as best she could and closed her eyes.

Edmund watched her for a moment, then decided to nap himself, and leaned back on his pillow, closing his eyes.

"Yes..apart from getting tired of being stuck in bed." Peter replied with a slight shrug.
Felicity shifted restlessly and turned on her side, then fell asleep within a few minutes after that.

Peter had leaned towards her and felt a lump rise up in his throat, though he quickly swallowed it and realized exactly how close they were to each other..their lips were nearly touching...and as a sudden surge of courage swelled in Peter's mind, he leaned in the rest of the way and kissed her.
