Zrglst looked at Kai and yelled, "I said you would all be spared! The more you rebel the more pain will be brought upon you humans!" He spun around and ripped up an operating table that was hiding Rachel and threw it away.

"Cr.ap!" Rachel heard the table clatter across the room. She scrambled to her feet, ready to run in whatever direction seemed best.

Black oozing alien blood, splattered and splashed onto Mark's blue jeans, white shirt, and face. Shrieking at each black ink squirt of blood, he kicked and continued to wriggle himself loose from Zrglst's grip.
"Kia, help Jimmy! Help Jimmy!" he helplessly shouted as he saw the expression on Jimmy's face.

Vimmac's nails dug into Kai's skin. Making the human turn to face him, the Alien brought Kai into his hot breath. Peeling up the black lips, a set of slime manifested teeth appeared. Vimmac's jaw opened and he brought Kai in closer.
Jimmy collapsed to the floor, falling off the slab. He forced himself to wake up and forced himself to crawl away from it all. He saw a figure run by, and he immediately recognized it as the blind girl named, Rachel. "Wait! Ple. . .wait!" His weak voice pleaded.

Kai ignored Zlghts shouts. As far as he was concered the aleins word was worth nothing. He was beyond fear, he was angry, pure and simple. "What are you going to do?" he snarled at Vimmec "Bite my head of? You killed my sister and my familly, you've killed my freinds and destroyed another. I have no fear of meeting them once more. There is nothing you can do with shall scare me." he spat.

Rachel stopped when she heard Jimmy's voice. Reaching out, she found the outside wall of the cage. "Where's the door on this?" she asked, feeling her way along the side.

Zrglst said quietly, "Lock all doors on the research level." into his comlink. Immediately doors all over the room began flying shut and locking, giving little time for an escape.

At last! Mark slipped through the slashed and bloody tentacles of Zrglst. Slipping onto his bottom with a thud, he scrambled on his hands and knees for some sort of cover.
Crawling behind another tall counter, he eventually made his way to Rachel and Jimmy, "I'm here, Rachel." He touched her shoulder reassuringly and then turning to face Jimmy's face of terror and agony, he grasped tightly onto his hand. "It's......ok. It's ok, Jimmy," he said with a stuttering voice. The look in Jimmy's eyes was beginning to frighten him and he was trying to deal with it the best he could....being a kid and all....

Hannah couldn't stand it anymore to hide in the dark cubboard. She slowly opened the door and looked outside. nobody was there, so she walked out of it, running along the corridor, no idea where she should run to. Finally, she decided to go back to Kai, Mark, Rachel and Jimmy. Maybe they where in danger and needed help. She slowly made her way back into the room, always looking around if something was behind her. "Oh my God..." that was everything she could say as she entered the room.

Vimmac's slender teeth suddenly lunged forward towards Kai. The Alien grabbed hold of the human's ear, and in less than a second, tore it from the skull.
Jimmy gripped Mark's hand. The boy's figure was blurred, but still recognizable. "Don't leave me here. Don't leave me here." Jimmy pleaded with eyes that were slowly losing their color.

Mark's only focus was on Jimmy. At that moment, everything around him was like a silent echo and his eyes tunnel visoned themselves into Jimmy's. Taking his other free hand and joining it to the other, Mark reassured him, "I won't. I won't leave. I won't."
Slowly, but surely, he watched as the young teen slipped away from their world. "Jimmy, hang on. Hang on longer. I'm here and so is Rachel! Hang on!"

The thought of what might be happening to Jimmy was frightening to Rachel, but the foremost thought in her mind was if it could be stopped. Trying to keep her voice from shaking, she said to Zrglst, "You said this can be stopped?"

Hannah first did nothing, she could only stare at Jimmy, who seemed to be not here anymore and the aliens. She tried not to scream when the alien attacked Kai, but she didn't manage not to do so. She backed away into a wall, she wanted to run away from the whole scene again, but she couldn't.
