The doctor sighed. " alright. i will be back with some pain meds that will help with her brusing." he said before leaving.

Lanie looked at Sylan. " is corison alright?" she asked softly.

David's attention went back to Corison. " oh no...uh i have to go.." he said darting out of the room.

Sylan got a cup of water and then sat back dwon on the bed where Lanie waited. "Here...take this. It will help with the pain." He waited till she had taken the meds then asked. "You want to go to the hotel, or do you want to stay at the house with me?"

Corison looked up at David and smiled. "You should go home and get some rest. There are normally tests tomorrow at school ... unless you arn't planning on going."

David sighed. " i don't know...my mom really hasnt been making me go to school lately, but my grades are suffering. i don't know what i'll do." he said rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Lanie took the meds and then listened to his question. she thought," i really want to go home, but...i don't want to be any trouble with you." she said being very open and honest with him for the first time in a long time.
