The hand pulled back with minimal injury, the other one was already pointed at Alan with the Desert Eagle. Their proximity would make it impossible to dodge.

Soldiers at outside surrounded the facility to block any other way out. Rocco sent his soldiers in different paths to catch the elves. And he chose one path, ran with his Desert eagle where the sounds heard. Rocco fired after seeing Alan smashed the arm of one officer. Fired all his 7 bullets at a time. "Get away freak" he yelled.

A man in a black suit said as he examined the facility trough his binoculars from farther away, he was standing by a black car, which was followed by around 5 other cars. They were all operatives of the secret police and as they came to know of this incident they set right out, Trosky never trusted the military in matters like this. They rather shot than thought first yet now Do No Evil was waiting in position in case anything would go wrong.

Tiny Merrina struggled to keep up, stumbling alongside Gabriel. "We need to find another way," she gasped. "All the doors will be guarded!"

Unobserved by the escapees running in the corridor below him, Kai Meinrad stayed in the shadows and watched the catastrophe unfolding before him, especially John Doe's struggle with the leader of the escape band. He was an assassin, not a warrior. In all-out battle, he likely wouldn't last five minutes.

His dark eyes flicked further ahead, where he spotted a small, slender woman being supported by a man. The woman was wounded and weaponless. However the man would most definitely be a problem, characteristic of his Beretta. He would have to make this quick and efficient.

He raised his Colt pistol, sighted down the back of the man's head, and fired. A split second later he vanished once more into shadow.

Gabriel continued to run down the hallway, pulling Merrina with him. Suddenly he stumbled, Merrina's arm pulling him to the side. He gasped with pain as a bullet hit him in the shoulder. He kept running.

Idiot! Meinrad cursed himself, leaping once more from the shadows to fire off another precision round at the retreating pair's backs.

Gabriel ducked as another bullet shot past him. "Hurry!" he gasped to Merrina as they rounded a corner in the hallway.

Shaniya ran, her footsteps echoing. She took out her two hand guns and turned, she fired at some of the men, each bullet hitting a target. Smirking she holstered the guns, took out a knife and turned. She resumed until she caught up with Gabriel and Merrina

Meinrad whirled just as another bullet clipped him in the forearm. Shaking it carelessly off as only an Elf could, he spun, searching for his previous targets -

They were gone.

He slipped his smoking Colt pistol back into its holster and melted once more into shadow.

Merrina stumbled and almost fell, only Gabriel keeping her up, and risked a glance behind her. "Who was that?" she gasped, alarmed.

Meinrad didn't take lightly to letting his targets go. He tracked the two escapees around a bend in the corridor. Catching sight of them ahead, he lightly scaled the wall and clung there, waiting for opportunity.

Merrina just missed seeing the stealthy assassin follow them. "How do we get out?" she asked, looking up at Gabriel and peering down the corridor, oblivious to the danger creeping up on them.

Silent, Meinrad dropped down from the wall and fired two shots point-blank at the back of the woman's head.
