Halt studied Jhor Meren from head to toe..
He didn't look much like ranger material.. but anything was possible..
Halt glanced over at Gilan trying to decipher what Gilan thought of the boy.

Arandur watched and waited excitedly as Jhor talked to the two men. He was second tallest. He was next in line. It was an effort for him to keep still.

Jhor wached the two men and a sudden understanding and horror seised him. "Please sir" he blurted out without thinking "I'd much rather be a Knight sir...." he trailed off usddenly realising that he'd probebly ruined his chances to become anything....
