I suppose you have a good answer for all of these, boy or else I would suspect that you work for Gallabatorix as a spy and you know what else I am gonna kill you right in front of these people whom I do not... Who are you all people?" he asked in a suprising manner.

Darren sighed. Brom was obviously not himself today, or else Christopher Paolini had not included the storyteller's entire personality in the books, but had written them down somewhere else where they still would make a difference in this adventure. Or whatever it was. If he was actually in a trap of the mind, though, Darren intended to enjoy it--it was what he had imagined many times when he was younger, after all.

He had no real fear that Brom could kill him, at least not before he himself lost his life, considering that the Dragon Rider could use magic. That might prove handy in the days to come, when they would be attempting to cross Caradhras. Of course, that was two weeks away, if Darren remembered correctly.

"Come on Brom, come on wake up" he said to himself as if he still is dreaming. He closed his eyes. "On three, I will wake up and see Alagaësia, 1,2,3 and they are open" however he saw the same people and the scene that he was in before. "Then it cannot be a dream but then what?" he reminded something. "a ringbearer oh yes who is this, move one step forward so that I can see you and your ring" he looked at the people curiously one by one whom he taught will appear with a ring one step forward.

Merry had run down to the fellowship with Pippin.
"Your not leaving without us!" he paused when he noticed the dragon, then turned, but saw Pippin continued, so he also continued, but stayed away from the dragon.

Murtagh didn't step up, but was suprised to see Brom. He had heard tales of the ex-dragonrider, and had met him once, only he was in concusion.

"This is the ringbearer!" Gandalf said, pointing to Frodo. "And that is the ring," he pointed to the ring on the pedistal in the middle of the now crowded out-door room.
"It's an evil ring, if you must know, and this fellowship, when this is settled, will go to Mordor, and toss it into the fire were once it came. To end all evil!"

((something tells me Gandalf and Brom are so much alike they could get along pretty well... lol...))

Except that Gandalf is way smarter and older than Brom, lol... He's like four Ages older (really he is--there were like three or four Ages before the Elder days, which is also known as the First Age of the Sun).

Darren caught Kitty's eye and walked over by her. "Kitty, do you recognize this yet? Gandalf, Eragon, Frodo, Legolas? We've been plopped right in the middle of The Lord of the Rings, and it seems the same thing happened to some from The Inheritance Trilogy. You remember yet? The latter is the one that they made a really lame movie about a while ago," he said, wondering if she was part of this mind-trap or if they really were in Middle-earth.

Boromir watched now as a grouchy old man began asking where he was and who was everybody. Had all of sudden the world gone mad? Boromir wondered as he kept silent.

Arya stood beside Murtaugh,Eragon,and saphira quietly waiting for few answers herself with her hand on her sword that was still around her waist.

"All of you strangers," Gandalf spoke up again, "The reason you came here might not have been of just by chance. Maybe each of you are here to accompany us. Elrond, I suppose no one else will join...." he was cut off when Merry came in from his hidding spot...

Brom looked at the old and white beard one with a cautious eyes. "That looks like an adventure I am going to do it but in one condition. When it is all done, you will find a way to sent me home if we could manage this mission. You have me, the ringbearer and aid of all who came with me in this world somehow"

Darren glanced around. "When do we leave?" he asked. He didn't remember from the books how long they had stayed at Rivendell before leaving--it was a couple of months, but he didn't remember for sure. Plus, he had no idea how their appearances here might affect the play-out of the story.

Gandalf gave a nod and turned to Frodo, and patted the hobbit on the shoulder before taking a spot to stand at the door, wanting to keep an eye on the stranger so he could learn something about them...
