Riley returned Emily's look, with a slightly confused one of his own, before turning back to Lannie, "but..." he thought, "but we might just be able to catch him before he drives away. Someone had to show Kira how to lock up," out of the corner of his eye he noticed Kira walking up to them, "Kira, has Ben driven off yet?" He still wasn't entirely sure about Lannie's internship here, but this was between her and Ben, wasn't it? He wondered though, since when did Ben let so many people get internships?
(blah, I hope that sounds good... my brain's kinda dead at the moment.  )

Kira looked up at Riley. "I would believe so," she answered, "he has been leaving early ever since him and.." Kira stopped and snapped her fingers a few times to try and remember the name, "...Abagail got back together."
"Emily and Riley, do you really think there is more to the Kennedy asassination?"

Emily nodded a bit to Kira and sighed a bit to her. "I believe there is... there is so many details left out on everything, because the FBI and all those wonderful departments don't want the public finding out about them." She said softly and then crossed her arms over her chest.

Lannie watched in silence, but her interest had been arroused. The Kennedy assassination? she thought to herself. Interesting... She twisted the handle of her bag with anxiety.

"Well, I'm doubting that it was arranged at all," Lannie said, sighing. She hadn't even begun her first internship yet, and things were already going terribly. She shifted her weight, hoping to alleviate the pain that her shoes were causing.

Lannie nodded and waited silently, nervousness writhing in her stomach. I knew this was too good to be true. Who was I to think that I, fresh out of university, would be able to get an internship with Mr. Gates, historian extraordinaire? She had hoped for the internship position here for weeks. What if the professor really hadn't called? What if the internship had fallen through. She swallowed as she waited for Ben to answer.
