Marrianne may have been; in her own words 'i'm a musical geniuse and super-intelligant love and you know it. Haha jogs' but that didn't mean balance was her strong point.
Danceing between boksleves, with your eyes half closed while attepteing to play an imaginary hapsicord and conduct an imaginary orchestra through a lively chorus of Handel's Messiah is not as easy as it looks. Thus when she landed in a heap at John's feet amid stifled laughter fro her school mates and glares from the librarian; who was smothering a smile herself, it wasn't really a surprise.
Marianne joined in the laughter and attmepted to gather up her books before looking up at whose feet she'd landed on. John.
Marianne flushed deep red but quickly recovered and grinned widely "Jonny-boy! Ooops, sorry Miss." She chuckled quitly. "Give us a hand will you? Worried about your big test? You know i bet you'll get lower than...hmmm 87% this time."
So far Marianne had lost about £50 in these bets; but it was fun and she had mouney to spare.
(jogs, jogg on - to joke)

Jacen stood for a moment staring at Don with an admonishing expression fit to curdle milk. Donovan Gainsburgh was in the same physical ed class as Jacen, they had both grew up as the top two for pretty much everything. Jacen kinda liked Don... he admired the man's natural agility and ability to take to almost everything he done. '...Fine, whatever! Just stay out of my way Don...' Jacen pushed his way past the lad to head on through the courtyard. Don was a good head taller than Jacen yet more slender and not as heavily built.
Jacen got all of two steps away before stopping in his tracks and turning back to Don. 'Look... i'm sorry Don, it's just Bray... he's running me into the ground and i've had enough. After tomorrow i'm leaving this place! Don't try and stop me!' A glint of sunlight caught Jacen's eye, relecting off a camera that seemed to aim at the two of them. Frowning under the harsh light of the sun, there a young woman Jacen had never seen before caught his attention. Her light brown curls shining in the spring time sun. Jacen could only stand and stare for a moment... not sure whether to be angry at the stranger who was pointing a camera right at him or to be amazed at how beautiful that girl actually was...

Struggling with her suitcase on wheels, Angie cursed and gave it a hard kick. She looked back up at the school, standing alone in the courtyard as other students walked past her. She wondered if she'd ever fit in. Probably not. She grabbed her suitcase again and continued dragging it towards the main entrance.

Kathryn sat on a bench in the courtyard, studying the melody for the madrigal that they were learning in music class. She normally found music relaxing, but lately their teacher had become much stricter on their performances, and the never ceasing rehearsals seemed like drudgery to her. Humming the tune in her soprano voice she began to work on her timing, remembering the rebuke she had been given after class.
"Your performance is slipping, Kathryn. Your timing was off and you were slightly sharp at the second verse. Music demands commitment and passion, young lady. Do not forget it."
Kathryn sighed heavily. How could she passionate about something on which she was constantly badgered over? The voices of two fellow students snapped her out of her reverie and she looked up to see Jacen and Donovan look to be in some heated exchange. She watched for a brief moment before turning back to her music. Whatever is going on is none of my business. she told herself and began to hum the melody quietly once more.

Angie made her way over to one of the benches, sick of her suitcase. She shrugged her rucksack off her shoulders, unzipped it and pulled out her tattered copy of "Romeo and Juliet". Sighing, she flipped it open and read. She was a Literature student and loved Shakespeare, but had refused to join the drama association at her last school. Her eyes fell upon one sentence and she smiled, reading it out aloud quietly.
"Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief that thou, her maid, are fairer than she."
Realising she was outside and that any old schoolyard bully could pick a fight with her at any minute for being a sad geek, she slammed the book shut and stared into the distance.

John looked up from the drawing to see Mary landing in front of him in a pile of books. He stared bemusedly before getting up and helping her. When she bet that he will get below an 87, he laughed and said, "Ten quid says I'll get the highest score in the class." He picked up a music book, stared at it inquisitively for a second, and returned it to her. "By the way, the Kreb cycle is in cellular respiration, not photosynthesis. That's the Calvin cycle." He then found a Christian book among the pile and frowned. He detested religion and their hypocrisies. All of those bloody fundamentalists, telling them to live in a way of peace yet slaughter the infidels. He nearly failed his Religious Studies class because he had a giant debate with his teacher and half of the class. Granted, some of them weren't all that bad and the art they produced was undeniably good, but he still wasn't fond of it.

[[~Goldleaf~ - Adrian and Angie seem a lot alike… is she paired up with anyone at the moment? Or do you think they could possibly go together later on? ]]
Adrian Shaw sat alone under one of the trees in the courtyard of Aldridge Academy. He hated this school and these people, especially on Mondays. Looking up with blue kohl-rimmed eyes, he listened as an ebony-haired girl recited a line from Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.
“Be not her maid, since she is envious; Her vestal livery is but sick and green, And none but fools do wear it; cast it off.”
Adrian smiled up at Angie, “Shakespeare is my favorite. We preformed it once at my old school… yours truly landed the role of Romeo.”
----------- Cherry McDowell tapped her foot nervously as she attempted to study in the library. She, like John, also had the same science test on cellular respiration. What was extremely strange for her though, was the fact that Cherry had forgotten to study the previous night, instead becoming too engrossed in a game of soccer with her friends.
I don’t know why I even bother… Miss Wilson only wants to fail me anyway. With that, Cherry slammed the book shut and sighed loudly.

(Angie's not with anyone as of now They could go out together later on but become friends first )
Angie looked up at Adrian, smiling faintly. "There aren't many who appreciate Shakespeare's art," she said. Her voice was low and quiet. She held "Romeo and Juliet", her long fingers with black-varnished fingernails tapping on the cover. "I never wanted to take part in the play; I like reading it."

Don moved out of the way of the shorter boy. He had always admired Jacen's endurence, but realized that the he had been pushed too far.
"I know what you mean, Jacen. Bray's been tough on us all, but I could tell he was singling you out. Though I don't see that as a reason to leave, but I won't stop you, friend," he said, then noticed Jacen was staring off, and followed his gaze. There was a girl that looked like she was video taping them. Don shook his head and turned back to Jacen.
"Did you hear me?" he asked. If Jacen left, then Don would be the top of the gym class. Good news for Don, but he didn't want to reach the top by having Jacen leave...

(sure thing Lothierial)
"Done. However my dear I feel sure i shall win this one"
She shook her head slightly at his frown. He may be her best freind and the love of her life; but he could still be bloody annoying at times. As a strict Catholic his utter rejection of her faith annoyed the hell out of her. However; that was that.
"Can i have my book please? You should read it; its all about how Christains should love one another and spread the Good News." She said perfectly seriousely; winding him up for all she was worth.

John laughed, "You wish." He turned the book over like it was a time bomb and read the back cover. "A former atheist who converted to Catholicism describes her spiritual journey closer to God and her advice to her fellow Catholics and religious people of all denominations... Sounds absolutely interesting." However, he thought, I seriously doubt it talks about the deaths for homosexuals or the Crusades or the Inquisitions. He handed the book over to Mary. "You don't take Chemistry, do you?" he asked curiously.

Still staring at the girl with the camera Jacen if he had ever seen her before. His thought began to drift off...
'For the love of all things good in this world... pull it out Jacen! I don't know why I even put up with you, or any of you for that matter... You're worthless Jacen! Worthless you hear me!? Jacen did you hear me?...
'Did you hear me?'
Jacen snapped back into reality, turning sharply to face Dom, 'Yes Mr. Br...' He squinted at Dom for a moment. 'Going?...' His mind was racing, blurring and buzzing... Mr. Bray yelling down at him, the girl on the Bench, his sister... his parents... his parents...
'But they're dead...' He muttered at Dom before collapsing to the ground...

Suddenly Jared collapsed. Don caught him so he didn't hit the ground too hard. He layed Jared genlty onto the ground.
"Jared!" he called, "someone, a little help here!"
~~~~~~~
In the corner of the courtyard, Larain had been playing on her violin softly. She didn't take music at the academy, but that didn't stop her from playing. She was lost in the music when she heard her brother's voice rise. She looked up to see Jared had collapsed. Larain knew him from watching sports practices to be suportive to her twin.
Larain carefully put down her fiddle and sprinted over.
"I'll go get the nurse," she said, and ran off...
John turned to Rosie with a hint of disgust and arrogance. He vaguely remembered her as the one thought it was clever to swap carbonic acid with hydrochloric acid in Chemistry. After all, they're both acids. Only one of them was much stronger and completely threw off John's lab. "Like what?" he asked coldly. He assumed she wanted to talk about the last party they had right after summer break. Which he didn't go to. It wasn't because he didn't like the company of women. In fact, he made sure he enjoyed it on his breaks. He just despised being their company for too long.
