The Joker had already started the truck and soon he had swerved out of the alley and onto the streets. He moved fast, weaving in and out of cars and banging up and flipping over vehicles that got in his way.

The Joker turned to Pierrot, "Leave." He cackled, "She's to..." He rolled his eyes and licked his lips "GOOD now. She's being hanging with the bats." He let out another laugh then pulled out a controller. He pressed the big red button then tossed it aside. The controller was useless now. Behind him, the bank caught on fire and literally blew up. Wood and glass flew everywhere.

Batman raced out of the shadows and pulled Mia away from the bank. "What did you think you were doing, talking to the Joker?" Confusion, but not anger radiated from his stern tone.

Mia looked at the Batman. "I told him missed him, that all. he was my father when I was a child. you know that Batman." She lloked down. "I will never help him with his crimes again." she confessed.

Whisper was in the bank when she saw the bomb and attemped to run out but was too late. She was thrown out of the bank as it exploded, being thrown into the street in front of on coming traffic.

Pierrot nodded and sighed. "Too bad...I think I liked her...but...if she decides to be on the other side...well...then I think this wouldn't have been a good start for a friendship..."

She leaned back against the seat and jumped up a little as she heard the bank blowing up behind her. She looked out of the window, back at the burning building, not sure what she could say, if she should say anything now. But after a while, she looked back at the Joker.

"What are you going to do with him now?" she asked, staring down at the boy again, grinning in pleasure as she saw his frozen face. "You're going to keep him as an hostage...so batman will follow us and you can play a little game with him...?"

Suddenly, she stopped talking and became quiet, very quiet. She looked down at her hands. "I...I think I forgot something..." she whispered, looking up again, nodding at the Joker. "You took me out of Arkham...and well...there was no time...but...I think I need to thank you for this. Thank you for freeing me...from this prison." She shook her head. "I'm not the one who was insane. They didn't understand me. I only did what was right. It was this place...which truely made me insane..."

Marie was standing across from the bank when it exploded. Her brother and two best friends were nearby. Will? Did you see that?

Yeah. Lets get a move on. She saw Will say something to Jenna and Ron, then the three ducked into a nearby alley. Marie looked around, then pressed a button on her "watch" and her pink and blue nano-suit covered her from head to toe. She was about to fly towards the building, when a green streak dashed out in front of her and caught a young woman thrown out of the debris.

Whisper felt herself being caught but couldn't get herself to wake up. She had some minor burns on her arms and a few scratches from glass on her face but otherwise knocked out.

The Joker glanced at Pierrot, keeping his face facing the road, "Well... I was going to use him as a shield if Whisper tried to throw a dagger at me." He said with a chuckle, "But it seems as if they are not chasing after us, so I will kill him when we get to the hide out." The Joker smirked.

The Joker turned his head so he could fully see the woman, "And I don't do the whole manners and 'thanks' thing. I simply broke you out. You can be thankful on the inside if that would make you happier." The Joker licked his lips and quickly swerved to the side to dodge a car. He then turned his head towards the road again.

The madman let out a sigh, "But," He rolled his eyes, "I suppose I shall try..." He let out another sigh, "You're welcome."

Pierrot didn't know what to say, or if she should say something now. She just looked down on her hands and nodded, thinking and smiling inside. She was back and she had the feeling like she could finally get what she wanted, however she couldn't deny there was still something on her mind she couldn't get rid of...doubt in herself, if she could manage it and fear of failing, of being caught again.

"Okay..." she finally whispered, while she slightly looked up at the Joker again. She bit her lip and stared out of the front window, watching the van quickly going through the street. "So...what are we going to do? Where are we driving to now?"

The Joker glanced at Pierrot. "To my..." He rolled his eyes and let out a laugh, "Lair!" He cackled even louder when he ramed into a mini van and he heard children in the back scream in fear. The Joker swerved down into an alley

Pierrot nodded and continued staring into the street, watching the houses and paniced car drivers, which tried to get off the street, passing by them.

"Alright..." she said after a time, looking beside her at the Joker again, her head still kept down a little. "And...you think Batman...or one of the others won't find us there?"

She stared out of the window again, smiling a little, which turned soon into a fit of laughing again. "You know...I start to trust you...I really do. What happened just before...I think you believe me if I say it was the funniest experience I've had for years."
