Danielle rolled her eyes as Sirius whispered to James, then looked at Lily. She noticed someone behind them, then looked at Remus and signaled him with her eyes. "I hope they don't see him..." she whispered.

Sirius and James - but Sirius especially - had been particularly mad at Severus Snape because he had tried to talk to Danielle before class. Truth be told, she hated him, too, and was grossed out by it. When he asked her if she had a boyfriend, she said, <i>"Yes, and his name's Sirius Black, so stop bothering me or I'll tell him all about this little chat we're having."</i> It was only then that Sirius had come in, and had been waiting to get back at him since.

Sirius turned towards Danielle.
"You know, we should go to... ah, brilliant." Sirius said his voice suddenly cold he drew his wand.
"Oi! Snivillus!" He called out.

Danielle made a face as if someone was scratching nails on a chalkboard. Her face returned to normal as he and James began to walk toward Severus.

He pointed his wand at Snape.

Severus sprang to life as Black came toward him, and drew his wand.

Danielle looked up as Sirius called Snivelly scum. Well, it was true, she didn't want to be bothered by him, but she was kind of apprehensive about what Sirius's temper would do....not that she cared, but the school would, and they had Hogsmeade to go to....

Severus dropped his wand and flared up with hate as he was strung up by Black. He struggled to keep his robes out of his mouth.

Danielle scoffed for a second at the quick stringing up of Severus, but stopped when she recieved a sharp look from Lily, Margaret, and Remus. She shrugged and her skin went pink.

Danielle smirked as Snivelly landed in a heap of robes on the ground. Well, it was what he got...almost everyone knew she was with Sirius. If he was stupid enough to think she'd dump Sirius for him, he was more asinine than she thought.

Remus quickly turned around as Danielle signaled him. But it was too late to do a thing. Sirius spotted him too. No one ever liked Snivellus. Especially Gryffindors. But still, Hogsmeade trip for tomorrow could be ruined. He was glad that Sirius stopped in time.
"That was a good one." he grinned "But still he will get just what he deserves. Remember the plan for next week?" he said and looked to Sirius and James.

Danielle laughed as Sirius came back and stood next to her, saying, "Sorry 'bout that." She rested her head on his shoulder and put her hand through his elbow. She could sense he was still mad, but didn't care. At least they'd be able to go to Hogsmeade tomorrow.

Now, while all this excitement was going on, James hardly paid any attention to it. Odd, to say the least, as he's usually the one who's got Snape strung up by the ankle while commenting lightly on the lovely graying underpants. And yes, his best mate's girl was being eyed by the same slimy git who now hung upside down in the air behind him, but see -- James Potter had his own girl to woo.

"C'mon, Evans," he pouted, sildling over to the redhead. "I'm not all that bad. See? I didn't even hex Snivellus that time! Give me a chance, yeah? Prolly won't run into him -" he jerked a thumb over his shoulder at the now struggling Slytherin "- at Hogsmeade, so I promise I'll be on my absolute best behaviour." Again, he ran his hand dashingly through his hair, offering a what he hoped to be a winning smile. "Please? Say you'll go out with me?"

James whirled around to face Remus at his words, his carefully handsome smile faltering for the briefest second as he tried to remember exactly what he was talking about.

"Be a mate and repeat that, would you, Moony?"

The smile quickly hitched itself back into place.
