Val went on her way to the library, anxious to get her philosophy reading done. The Jedi trials, she knew, were not just a test of physical and Force prowess

(gee I guess the speeder just magically disappeared )

When she finished five hours later, she began preparing the file.

Greetings, fellow seekers of enlightenment, knowledge, near-death experiences, and mental therapy! As you may or may not know, Coruscant regularly plays host to several races each month, equivalent to street racing on other worlds. These are not conducted on the major airways but within the heart of the city, including such obstacles as tall buildings, power relay stations, other speeders, passing civilians, and occasionally Jedi in freefall. Moreover, these races are not exactly legal, and enormous sums of money are usually bet on their outcomes by members of the Coruscant underworld.
I have been involved in the individual races quite a number of times (with some success)- not that many people have to know about it. None, in fact, besides yourselves.
There is also a team race tonight. Teams may be composed of three or more people, and the first three individual finishing times of each team are added together to form a composite time. The team with the smallest composite time is declared the winner.
If you do choose to participate, I suggest that you reject your obvious Jedi attire in favor of something more conventional. I also suggest that you not publicize your plans for the evening.
I'll be at the Yanterm Tower, where the race begins, at 8:00 tonight. Contact me by comm link, and I will have the course information prepared for you.

Cilicia reached out and grabbed his comlink as it sounded, a message had arrived! "This is it!" he stated as he looked over the message.
Him and Jaden were still int here trainging sesion. Reading it alloud a smile grew on his face. "Sounds like fun." he said with slanted eyes and a devious smile.

He sent the confirmation to Valera that him and Cilicia were willing to participate.

Sheilk walked down the hall. he went out of the building and got onto a transport ship. a few minutes later he got of in another part of the city, and walked into a large building. He went to the 78 floor and walked into one of the rooms. "moooooom, i'm back from the Temple!" " welcome back, son!" she said from another room. Sheilk walked into his room and opened the window, the jumped out. a few floors down, sheilk landed on a balcony and started climbing up a ladder on the side of the balcony. at the top, he leapt to another one, and another, and he continued with that for about 30 minutes. soon he was near the top of the building, and he climbed up the last ladder, and jumped on one of the poles on top. this was sheilk's thinking space. He could see most of the city from up here. a few minutes later he jumped down and went to a small hole in the metal. he reached in and pulled out a plasma wrench.he went to another corner and pulled a cloth of a large lump, which turned out to be a half finished one seater speeder. Sheilk started working on the speeder. " now i put in the pipe. or that lever..." he said to himself. about an hour later, he had put in the energy core and the emergency Reverse thrusters. He had gotten most of the parts from his friend, elpo, who worked at a repair shop. soon, it was ready for a test run. He leapt on and started the speeder up.

At 8:00 that evening, Val stood at the base of the Yanterm Tower, surrounded by clandestine drivers, agents, bookkeepers, and technicians. She blended in neatly in her favorite purple outfit, her lightsaber hidden underneath a black leather surcoat. Down at the ground level, it felt like it was underground. The main entrance to the tower was several stories overhead.
Once again reviewing the course on the datapad in her hand, she activated her comm link.
"Jaden? Cilicia? Are you here? I'm standing under the long green neon sign."

Val turned, ready to greet her fellow padawans - "Sithspit!" she breathed as she took two quick steps back, creating distance.
Even in the shadows, she could tell that the person facing her was not one of her friends.
