"Oh, my god! Who turned the AC on?" a Brother to the right of Frost Lord demanded.
Frost Lord said nothing. He was sitting in a chair next to about twenty people. Obviously they were important members of the Brotherhood. To the left of Frost Lord was Magneto, who was calmly waiting for everyone to be quiet. They did, eventually.
"As we all know," Magneto began. "Due to our gifts and powers, we are persecuted and hunted down. Once again, we find ourselves an idealist who regards his purpose in life to hunt down mutants and kill them. Such will never happen while I still breathe, I assure you. I do not know if this man is from the government or the church or doing this out of his own dillusioned emotions. But I will tell you that no one of us are going down without fighting back. Our people are at a risk here.

Hatred had left the park and was now waiting on a roof, the brotherhood was coming and he knew it. Magneto would go to the threat rather than wait for it, but if he waited for it then Hatred would only hunt them one by one.

Hatred still remembered the faces of his brothers and what they had gone trough, peace had been the only thing they had deserved and not to live a wretched life, but how the brotherhood took his quest was sort of a mystery to him. They could assume him to hate all mutants, but that could not be farther from the truth and only fools make such assumptions.

Isolde drummed her long, pale fingernails on a table. She looked up at Tristan, after watching her fingers, listening to silence. She popping another bubble, this one very large, looking around again. At least I'm willing to give this place a chance, she thought.
Tristan watched her, a smile flickering at the corners of his lips. Both jumped up at the sound of the doorbell.
"I'll get that," said Tristan, half to Isolde, half to himself.
He walked over to the door and opened it. "Can I help you?" he asked.
Back in the other room, Isolde walked around the room a little, her silver wings beating quickly, stretching out nicely.

Tristan blinked at the girl. "Um...I don't know if the Professor is here. I just got back from a...vaction..."
"I'm right here, Tristan," said Professor Charles Xavier, moving up behind Tristan, smiling at the boy, "Good to see you back. I'd like to meet Isolde later."
Tristan smiled at the Professor, stepping out of the way, so the girl could come inside. Isolde had quickly grown bored with the room and grabbed her jacket, putting it back on.
Her wings were smooshed on her back. She had heard what the Professor said and blinked. How did he know her name? Isolde wondering silently.

"I need your help."she said carefully.

"Come with me to my office."he said and she slowly walked after him.

Tristan watched as the two left. Isolde walked next to Tristan. "Who was that?" she asked, looking after the two.
"The Professor and some girl I have never met before," said Tristan, "She said she wasn't here to fight..."
He grabbed Isolde's hand. "Come on," he said, "I want to know what's going on."
He dragged Isolde after him as the two started down the hall, trying to be as quiet as possible.

Rouge's pencil tapped against her physics text book as she scanned for vocabulary words. Her other hand was a fist that her chin rested on. Frequently the pencil would move across a piece of notebook paper in her neat scrawl and then go back to the noise she made out of boredom. Shoving her white tresses out of her face, she shut the book, leaving her homework inside, and went downstairs to the kitchen. On the way she scanned every face for Bobby. But he wasn't around. Rogue sighed. Their relationship was strained now because they couldn't make any contact. They couldn't even hold hands unless Rogue had gloves on. It was hard for Bobby and now she saw less and less of her boyfriend. She opened the fridge and got out a coke.

Kitty walked downstairs and then went into the living room, to watch some television. She had been getting bored in the mansion, due to there not being any action going on. She sighed deeply and sat down on the couch, while grabbing the remote. She turned on the tv and flipped through the channels, until something caught her eyes. The news. Magneto was on it.

"Please sit down."he said and she looked at him.

She sat down in a chair in front of the desk and looked around.

"You do know that many here wont except you in the beginning?"he said and she looked down.

"I know but I can take that.I just need to get out of there."

She looked up. "I promise I'll do my best.I can fight and I know my powers is a little scary but I only use them if I must.I'm no like them."she said quick.

"Sence you're here I know that you're not like them.But we hav to talk to the others before you can move in."

"The others?"she said.

"You've met them..."he said.
