Felicity smiled slightly as he left, then turned to go back inside as well after a few minutes, and headed straight for her room.

Evelyn stood out for the festivities, occasionally getting bombarded with compliments and thoughts on the decorations, and occasionally having to make excuses for Felicity. Though she didn't want to admit it, the person she wanted to see most that night still hadn't talked to her yet. As the evening somewhat died down, she brushed a strand of hair out of her face and finally stood still for a moment without having to make conversation. Without a second thought, she reached for some water.
