(*Clears Throught* after watching my brand new DMC movie... and taking it all in... I've decided not to quit. I just needed remembering of how the movie went(and all the details) and... I'd like to take my Pintel in Gibbs back... if yeah don't mind... but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to catch up 'cause Survivor finalle starts in like 7 min.!)

"C'mon, Jack," Bootstrap agreed, taking a step closer to his friend. "You need th' rest." He moved to put an arm around Jack's torso and thus help the pirate stand, but stopped as he discovered the beginnings of a new growth along Jack's spine. He knew it certainly hadn't been there earlier that day when Jack had received the whipping, but it already seemed too developed to have just started growing. No doubt it was a result of Jack's latest 'trick.' "That's interesting..."

(Uh, Eruraina, please don't quit and then decide to re-join like that again. It's upsetting sometimes when we take the time to discuss the plot and decide who will be taking the left over characters. I don't mean to sound rude, but I wanted to tell you.)

Jack's eyes cracked open, only to see a blurred image of old Bootstrap Bill infront of him, looking, rather disturbed.
"Wha' now?"..." Sparrow managed to mutter, taking in large breaths of air to expand his lungs to prevent them from going into shock. He grimaced his face as he felt a sharp pain ache through his back.

Barbossa looked around at the damage again, and then said. "We better hope Cap'n Renyolds has a lot of wood. We've got to get there as fast as we can. Any bit of help would do. Only matter of time before it comes back." Growled Barbossa looking to everyone and then at Tia..

"Nothin'," Bootstrap replied shortly as he helped Jack stand and proceeded to help the captain toward what remained of the cabin. "Jus' the after-effects of th' very thing I told ye not to do. Main thing ye need now is rest." He paused as he heard Barbossa shouting orders and shook his head with a sigh. "Least you needn't worry 'bout givin' orders. Hector's takin' care of that part for ye."
Tia looked back at Barbossa with a raised eyebrow. "Aye, we best be movin', 'less ye fancy fightin' da Kraken again. Ye all know what ta do."

Jack applied more weight onto Bootstrap's coral ridden shoulders. He felt useless and weak, and the severe additions that were painfully being added to his body only made it worse.
Jack at the moment cared not for Barbossa and said to Bill, "I couldn't 'elp it Bill. It controlled me causing it to-"
He suddenly stopped and clenched his jaw shut as he felt a strange numbing sensation run over the inside of his mouth.

Bootstrap stared at Jack curiously before striding over to one of the few cabinets in the cabin that hadn't been completely obliterated. "Can always count on you t' have a spare," he said dryly, apparently having found what he was searching for. Making his way back over to Jack, he handed the pirate a dust-covered bottle of rum. "Only way I know t' dull th' pain," he explanied with a slight grin. "An' I know it's not a pleasant experience but it's one we all go through. Are still goin' through, for that matter." He paused to indicate the coral that was now quite abundant on his back and the starfish the covered more than half of his face, as well as the one that was forming on his left shoulder. "Eventually ye learn to ignore th' pain, or at least accept it. You'll get used to it. But you've also got to learn to control it, Jack. Faster ye change, th' faster ye fade. I've lasted this long, an' I've no intention of seein' my friend go before me."

Will and Ragetti hoisted Elizabeth back onto deck. Will grabbed her by the arm and then said, "Are you all right?"

Ragetti walked up to Barbossa and leaned in close to his face, "Orders captn'?"

Jack took the rum bottle and immediately took a swig. His brow creased and he stumbled to the chair that was thankfully still held together, unlike his desk which was shattered into pieces.
He cleared his throat and replied to Bill tiredly, "Aye mate...but there's no knowing of when the buzz-buzz decides to hit, and when it does, said pirate can't do nothin' 'bout it mate...
He started to sit down and went to rest his back up against chair, but something painful got in the way. "Oio...what the-?"
He tried to glance behind him, but he couldn't find the will to do so since his head swam from the throbbing pain in his mouth.

Pintel had helped hoisting up Elizabeth then went beside Ragetti as he asked for orders. He now had a large bruse on his whoulder from when the kraken had hit him.
"Aye, what are our orders, sir?"

Mr. Gibbs sat down on a barrel on deck that luckily hadn't smashed. He took out his wiskey bottle and had a swig, then another, and another. When he was done, he wipped his mouth with his sleeve and put it away.
"The kraken is the devil of the seas, it is. Known to no one when it'll attack next. I advise that we git goin'"

Will ran below deck and found Jack and Bootstrap talking together. "What should we do? The kraken could be back at any moment!" His eyes were wide and spastic with anticipation of a large tentacle reaching below deck ready to grab them all.

Unknowing to Will, Elizabeth followed and placed herself next to him. She held his arm fearfully and shyly looked to Bootstrap.
Her attention was then drawn to Jack's appearance, "JACK! What is wrong with you? What's happening to your face?" Her eyes shifted nervously, as did her feet.

"Last I checked, 's called a fin, Jack," Bootstrap replied dryly, snatching the rum bottle from Jack and taking a large swig himself. "Ye act as though you've never seen-" He paused and looked up in surprise as Will and Elizabeth burst into the cabin, though in truth it could hardly be considered bursting, as the cabin no longer had any doors to burst through. "Nothin's wrong with Jack's face," he said calmly, looking to Elizabeth. "Or at least, nothin' that wasn't already wrong with it before he made his deal with Jones...S' just part of th' process we all go through. He'll be fine."
