Godfrey slashed at a man who seemed to be taking out quite alot of men, the man fought back furiously and they were both engaged for quite a while after the battle had ended

Cat had begone her custom search of their dead attackers, slipping their gold and knives into her belt. For her the battle had been easy, she possesed only minor cuts and bruises, which the 'priest' was looking over passively.
Out of the cornber of her eyes she kept an eye on Godfrey, ready to jump in at any moment.

Godfrey managed to get at one of the man's legs, he, in rage flew at him, Godfrey went to the side and ducked his sword, turned and slid his sword swiftly into the man's chest, the man sunk down lifelessly, and he took out his sword without difficulty, turning to see the outcome of the fight

It was clear that the guard was being routed, for men were running wildly everywhere, being cut down by horsemen and arrows alike. Balian came out of the undergrowth near to his father.
"I- I am sorry that this had to happen, Father" he said, weak from his sorrow.
