Meinrad didn't take lightly to letting his targets go. He tracked the two escapees around a bend in the corridor. Catching sight of them ahead, he lightly scaled the wall and clung there, waiting for opportunity.

Merrina just missed seeing the stealthy assassin follow them. "How do we get out?" she asked, looking up at Gabriel and peering down the corridor, oblivious to the danger creeping up on them.

Silent, Meinrad dropped down from the wall and fired two shots point-blank at the back of the woman's head.
[take my shots somewhere less vital... then retaliate or whatever just don't kill my character. im getting off for tonight]

Too late, Merrina shot a glance behind them and had just time to see the assassin leap into view. Life seemed to slow down and she could see him cock his gun and fire - straight at her. She gasped in horror (or so it seemed) and pushed Gabriel to the side, following him - but not quickly enough. One bullet grazed Merrina's shoulder blade and the other buried itself in her arm as she shoved Gabriel away.
Moaning in pain, Merrina nevertheless whipped her head around and scrambled as quickly as she could around the corner, cradling her arm, which was now injured in two places.

Alan kicked his hand that held the gun in a fiery rage. He took notice of the wounded Elves and decided that they needed to get out fast.

Alan grabbed the hand, gripping it tightly. He then climbed on his body, kicked his chin as he performed a backflip, and landed some feet away from him. He then continued to run, telling the other Elves to do the same.

John staggered back then recovered and began to run after the elves.

Meanwhile in London, all seven heads of the Ministries await anxiously as Supreme Ruler Adam Dantlir comes on screen. Rarely he appears in person, therefore he was represented by a large video screen that was covered by his face. "Gentlemen, I have heard the rumors," he began. "Now I want to hear the truth."
"Well, several Elves managed to escape facility E-34," The head of Think No Evil said. "We are attempting to capture them."
"Have we prepared for something like this?" Supreme Ruler Dantlir asked.
"No, sir, they were trained to be completely loyal to Nasyid but..."
"But they were not! Can you explain that?!" All seven heads were grateful that though the bite and bark could not be avoided, the screen saved them from his spit.
"I guess several Elves were not given the correct dosage..." stuttered the head of Think No Evil.
"See to that they are captured. I want the Speak No Evil to spread the word that several dangerous "undesirables" have been located and present a major security breach. "How" is your duty. Understood?"
A chorus from the seven heads rang, "Understood, Supreme Ruler."
Then the screen went blank.

Gabriel spun as Merrina pushed him out of the way. He saw a man melt back and dissapear into the shadows of the wall. He realized Merrina had been shot twice in the same arm. "Come on." He grabbed her uninjured arm again, helping her run. He gritted his teeth. Minor wounds would hardly hurt him, but a bullet was buried in his shoulder, burning like fire.

Shaniya, the only uninjured elf in the small group, spun and took out her guns. She saw something move in the shadows and began to shoot.

Cat steps out of the shadows, a gun in her hands, and aims straight at John. Her shot hits him in the back, knocking him the floor. She's bleeding from about three different wounds, but it doesn't seem to affect her. She looks at the other Elves and hurries over to them. "More men are coming fast, I couldn't hold them off forever.... We've got to move while we can...." The only sign of her injuries is how harsh her voice sounds, and the fact that she's leaving a slight trail of blood.......
