Avalyn let her head down ever so slighly as Lana came into the conversation. No matter how long they had known each other, she still showed her the respect that she deserved.

"Lana, If I may, I can easily scout the forest borders without being seen. I can gather information on the enemy's position. And..." She paused, a smirk slowly spreading itself across her face, setting a pecticular glint in her eyes "I might be able to raid their camps... Unsuspected. I mean, who would suspect a hungry couger for treason?"

Age: About 227. That would be 23ish, maybe 24.
Appearance: Tall with dark brownish aubrurn hair. Light hazel eyes with flecks of green.

Weapons: Bow, two long sword-knives.
Powers/Element: Forest
Loyalty: herself, though the rebels when need be.
History: Was born, trained in the ways of the wood, and now lives on her own.

Lana nodded. "Permission granted to scout but be back for the afternoon training session. One of the Captians will be taking over the combat session but it's time we started working with those with magical abilities. And if you do go on a raid, I'd prefer if you took a few other nymphs with you."

Alya boredly continued to watch. She was entranced with the dragon but not much else of consequence was going on with the rebels. With a flick of her tail, she sprang to another tree, beginning to travel away from the camp at a slow but steady pace.

"Before I leave I think I will do a bit of brushing up on my own abilities, I have not done any scouting work in recent days."

Meleth still said nothing, having been lingering on the sidelines of the squabble over the dragon's good intentions, which she thought was rather silly. She looked around for Koltok, having lost track of him, and watched Lana discuss scouting possibilities with a nymph she hadn't met, contemplating joining the training session. A sly smile curved her lips upwards - the trainees wouldn't know what had hit them.

Noleni prowled the forest as a lone wolf. A low growl eminated from her throat. Another peaceful villiage had been destroyed. She had once limited herself to small bits of nastiness: Fouling enemie's water, stealing food, raising nightly racket, but the obseneties that they had inflicted wounded her deep, and she needed to fight back

Emarina contacted Erkanis, asking, "Their response?"
"No, we can't fly," Erkanis said, stabbing his sword into the snowy ground.
"Told you they were disagreeable."
"For now, maybe...but still..."
"That dwarf, I smell dragon in him."
"What? Are you insane? He hates dragons, couldn't you tell?"
"Either way, he has been in frequent contact with them. I smell the scent of dragon around him."
"Look, maybe he had a bad experience with them but...."
"You dare support that midget over your friend?!" Emarina said that with a snarl.
"Of course not...."
"Then don't give me that impression."

I was cured all right.

Avalyn left the training grounds and could soon be seen as a lone couger proling through the forest silently, in search of anyone or anything that could pose a threat, or an ally. She soon slowed her pace as she spotted something in the trees. A planis.

Alya sniffed the air and hissed. A creature was near with the scent of the camp. She sprang down from the tree, landing nimbly on both feet. Her head turned to see the cougar but immediately sensed it was not an ordinary cat. She took off at all four with suprising speed. She did not look ridiculous like a human would running like this but instead had the conformation of a cat. Her tail waved behind her like a banner, giving her position, but she didn't care. She sped along hoping to get away from

Grateful for some peace, Lana quickly retrieved her glaive from her tent. The pole was long and cut to fit her height with several inches of silver metal capped on top. The vritch found a small corner on the training field away from the other soldiers. She began to twist and move the weapon, wielding it with expertise. The glaive spun faster and faster as she began to warm up. She began to perform a pattern dance moving the weapon in a series of thrusts, stabs, and movements.

Avalyn reacted emedietly and ran after the planis, but was losing distance quickly, but she was not giving up this fight, oh no, she had other tricks up her sleeve. While running, she soon became somewhat smaller in size, and spotted, she also gained much speed and now she looked exactly like a cheeta. She raced after the planis, who was now in full view. She tailed her at a steady pace. It was her move.

He can smell you or me to be exact, on you... Kharandros pointed out in the mind of Rieltar as the dwarf was just finnish his meat.

What? That`s impossible? How could he... Rieltar thought and finnished the food, he pushed it aside and jumped down.

You forget I smelled the humans scent on you and that was no guess back then, but worry not Rieltar for he cannot know of who I am and can only suspect. He won`t know what hit him when I appear along with the gathered strength of my servants, procceed calmly and as planned.... your time will come.... Kharandros spoke with a calm yet slightly threatening voice.

Rieltar thought and the link was again gone as he walked down to the training area, he had gathered a small company of dwarves under his command all tough they mainly had to rely on humans yet their time would come. What wasn`t known was that these dwarves all originated from the black mountain yet there was no proof nor was there any scent upon the others. They had joined the rebels in different places and had been directed to Rieltar as he had been on a lookout for dwarves to join his small infiltration unit within the rebel lines.

The planis glanced back, seeing the smaller cat-like creature. She hissed. Scythes quickly grew out of her nails. The claws were deadly and lethal but she wasn't here to fight. With non human abilities, she leapt up into a tree at the height of her momentum. She did not aim for the lowest branch but rather moved as high as she could. Her claws dug into the tree as the made contact. Using her nails, she scrabbled up to a safe distance and swung onto a branch. She crouched there like a gargoyle, ready to spring. Curious she may be but she did not like fighting unless she needed to. She preferred to flee. "What are you, beast?" she called down.

Avalyn once again changed forms, but did not change all that much. She then climbed up the tree, keeping her distance from the planis, as a leapord.

"I am a forest nymph, and I am known as Avalyn. In return I would like to know your name, planis."
