Shade sighed. "I'll stay with Kith, then." He said as his compainion disappeared. He turned back to Kith. "I mean no harm to you, Kith. I am known as Shade and what is your business here?"

"My buisness is my own." He said softly. "Though I assure you it is not harmful" His speach was slow and annunciated as he struggled to speak a language not his own. His heart had slowed. He could see a kindness in this man, somthing he was surprised he noticed. He had not seen that for a long time.

"I trust you..." Shade said and put his bow completely away. "Ugh, what a strange night it has been." He muttered, but loud enough for anyone to hear, but not really directed to anyone.

Strange indeed." Kith replied. He glanced around, searching the shadows for intruders. A strange glimmer caught his eye. He krept over to it, and picked it up. It was a large egg shaped object. Even in the faint moonlight, it shimmered. Sea green stone webbed through a stormy green background, reminding Kith of a violent ocean he had seen. It was lighter than he thought it would be.

Shade followed Kith and looked beside the stone that he found. Beside it laided a dark red stone with weird coloring. Shade knelt down and picked it up and poked it with a stick. "Hmmm...what are they?"

Layna quietly rode her human domesticated horse through the desserted city. She could tell it was great in its time but that would have even been before her, which in elf years wasn't that long.
She was in the city for one reason, rumors of the Empire leaving eggs in desserted cities had reached the elves, and Layna , of chorse, voluntered.
SO, now she rode her elegant hand on her hip as her rich brown hair flowed behind the trotting hors. The whole time listining for the slightest sound or sight of anything.
Suddenly her steeds strides grew stiff and her nostrils flared at something Layna couldn't yet sense. Thye horse screeched out in fear and went to bolt when Layna pulled her around in a tight circle and stroked the beasts sweat soaken coat.

Shade felt the stone and then tossed it up in the air and then caught it again. "Strange...it's so heavy...for a stone, at least." Shade looked at it agian. "Or mabye it isn't a stone."

Oh, enough standing around like a fool.. the elf finally berated herself, moving away from the building cautiously, eyes constantly roaming and searching for lurking dangers or threats. Of course, this meant she revealed her position for a few long moments, but that was of little importance to her.

Coming upon her former companion and the other from the rooftop, apparently an elf, looking over two strange 'stones', the elf stopped in her footsteps, eyes narrowing. "Two more of them?" she asked softly, directed at no one in particular.

Layna and her horse galloped into a clearing. The animal spooked at its own shadow when the moon came out from behind one of the clouds in the sky. The clearing was behind a run down building and there stood three people, two of which held polised objects that she couldn't see.
The reason for which, her horse reared up and spun violently as soon as she landed. Layna hoped that these people were friendly.

The elf heaved a sigh, before crossing her arms. "Aye, I do..but it would not be best to speak of this matter outside of a building." And, with that, she turned and headed back inside the building they had taken refuge in earlier, heading straight for her horse, which stood in the shadows at the very back of the building.

While waiting for the other two, the elf retrieved a silvery 'stone' from one of her saddlebags, weighing it carefully in both of her hands. It felt as if it were growing heavier as time passed, and that was very odd..
