"I always have offered help... always has it been turned down. I thought you all would be glad to have more help from what I just heard. "Should we go after her?" Koltok wondered aloud. It wasn't that he didn't want her help. It was that he didn't want to drag her into somthing she would later regret. He wasn't sure if he should tell her that, or just let things be.

Amrod had no choice but to follow them so he quietly walked along behind them.

Jh'ran slipped quietly through the woods, his dark clothes and inky black skin blending with the shadows. He watched as a girl on a horse cantered past, but shifted his gaze past her. His concern was with the others, the ones with the Rings. He had been watching and listening for some time, hidden outside the room. He started to head back towards the house, but paused. The girl was the sister of one of the Chosen. She could prove...helpful.
He changed his course and followed swiftly after the girl.

Koltok grimaced. Elizabeth was his friend's sister. He should go after her. "I'll get her" He told the others. Calling to mind the feathers a flight of an owl, he shifted. Koltok ground his teeth. He still hadn't gotten used to the eerie feeling of changing shape. Bones shortened and hollowed. His mouth hardened and elongated, becoming a beak. His toes became talons. Now an owl, Koltok took to the sky. In the air he would easily catch up to Elizabeth. A few minutes flying took him directy above her. He swooped ahead of her and landed. A brief moment was all he needed to shift back to his normal shape. He stepped out into the middle of the path and used his ability to speak to animals please, mare, stop he called. The horse agreed. She had never had a two legger speak to her like that and she was intrigued. Koltok ran up the the mare and grabbed her riens so Elizabeth wouldn't spur her into another canter. "Elizabeth, please, don't be angry." he said.

Elizabeth went wide-eyed when Koltok suddenly appeared in the rode. She shook her head.
"I'm not angry... well, maybe a little. Why have you... stopped me? Did you all change your minds and are going to let me help even though I don't have a ring?" she looked hopeful...

"I stopped you because its never good to leave a situation in anger. Then the anger has a hard time going away." He stopped, not quite sure how to say what he had to. "Its not my decison to make, whether or not you can join us. It is a join decision. It'll take thought. Come back with me to the others and we will talk. But I can't help but feel worried. You are not a ring bearer. You were not given a ring, we were. But Let us discuss it before coming to a rash decision" he let go of the riens.

Elizabeth nodded, and turned her horse around when Koltok let go of the reins. She turned in the saddle to look at him.
"Since it's up to you chosen to decide, then it's most likely I won't come along to help. But it's worth another try for adventure," she said, a bit of envy in her voice when she said 'chosen'.

Amrod waited while Koltok went to get Elizabeth back. He leaned against the tree and surveyed Turwaithiel.
"Were you given a ring and your sister not?" He asked.

Koltok didn't have anything to say to that. After a moment of silence he spoke up "It'll be quicker if I shift." He spoke quickly again to explain himself "That means I'll change my shape. Don't be frightened, please, its okay" Without waiting for a responce he shifted to a horse. He tossed his head and began to canter.

Elizabeth didn't freak out, she was fine with it... and that also answered her question on how he got in front of her when she thought he was back at the cabin.

Elizabeth mad her horse canter side-by-side with Koltok...

(um... Tur won't be on for awhile... who has taken over this rpg while she's gone... I'd have to check...)
