Arianna glanced sharply about their surroundings as she heard the noise, her lithe body tensing at the sound. She breathed a sigh of relief as the roar receded and an uneasy stillness settled upon them. Quickly getting to her feet, she approached Jack, Drew and Charlie. "I'm going with you." she told them, determination furrowing her brow.

Misha awoke with a scream. There have been these pictures again in her dream...these unforgetable pictures which where hunting her mind for weeks. She looked around, first not knowing where she was, but then she remembered. Misha slowly got on her feet, still trembling. Then she heard noises, there was a loud sound and she heard other people scream. She moved towards the screamings. "What happened?" she asked, half terrified by the unknown thing in the wood, half confused and scared because of her dream.

Jack nodded at Arianna. "You better go and try to get some sleep then. You'll need your strength tommorow.." He stared in the flames and knew for sure he couldn't sleep, he was used to making long days anyway..

Sawyer looked up at Misha. "Well Blue- Eye, a herd of elephants just strolled down the beach, but when they noticed our camp they turned around and went in the jungle." He groaned, turned around, his head still leaning on his bag, trying to get some sleep.

Arianna nodded and headed back to the campfire. Opening her suitcase, she took out her towel and spread it one the sand. Lying down, she stared absently at the stars overhead. A slight smile traced her lips as she remembered how she used to gaze up at the night sky as a little girl-sometimes the celestial light her only comfort after a hard day of training. With that rolled over on her side and fell into a fitful sleep.

Drew said, "Okay, I will see you both first thing in the morning then, Jack and Arianna". Drew then headed over to where Sawyer and Misha were. She sat down beside Misha and asked her, "I heard you scream. Are you okay?". At Sawyer's elephant comment she rolled her eyes and then ignored him as he rolled over to go to sleep.
"Well I'm going to call it a night too.", Charlie said as he headed a little further down the beach. "Oh and I will see you first thing in the morning!", Charlie called.

Misha looked back at Drew. "Yes...it...it was just...just a nightmare...I...I..." suddenly she had the urge to tell everything, she just had to. "About my parents" she said after a long pause after breathing out deeply. "They...they died in a car crash. I was there...I was meant to save them but I was helpless...I couldn't. I just couldn't. They died away under my hands and I wasn't able to help...to save them...my own parents. I couldn't...it was my fault...my fault..." She put her face down into her hands and fought her tears back. "I couldn't help..." she continued whispering.

Drew looked a bit shocked. She really hadn't expected to hear that for an explanation. "I am sure that it wasn't your fault. Sometimes things just happen and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it. Sometimes we are at a loss to help", Drew told Misha as she slowly came to a stop in her little speach. It was as if she was speaking from experience herself. In truth she was remembering many of her experiences in the army. "Trust me, it was not your fault.", Drew said.
Charlie walked by Drew and Misha and waved. "Night ladies", Charlie called. He finaly found what he decided to be a nice and far enough away from the rest of the people spot to sleep. He slumped down, rested his head on his folded up hands, stretched out, and fell into a restless sleep.

Misha signed deeply and looked up to Charlie wishing him a good night too. Then she turned back to Drew. "I...know...all the doctors...the psychiatrists...my friends...they all told me that it wasn't my fault...that...it just happened. But...yet I feel guilty about the whole thing and it never lets go of me. You know...I'm helpless..."

"Hey, if they say it wasn't your fault, then it wasn't your fault. Besides from what I hear I agree with them. As for the guilt not letting go of you...you...well...I...I guess you just have to make it let go somehow. Don't let yourself be helpless anymore, you know", Drew said in a less than confident tone of voice.

Misha looked back into the fire and nodded slowly. "It's hard..." she whispered. "It's so hard..." she looked back at Drew and wiped her tears off her face. "But you're right. You're right. I...I think I have to try it...yes...I have to try it. Thank you, Drew. Thank you."

Drew said, "You are very welcome". She then stood up and started to walk down the beach. "Good night, Misha! Good night, Sawyer!" Drew yelled as she walked. She then layed down under a tree and fell asleep.

Sawyer just groaned at Drew when he heard her yell at him and finally fell in a restless sleep. He woke up just before dawn and noticed that most of the people from the camp were still sleeping. From his stash he took at candybar and he got up to find his own suitcase, he didn't manage to find the day before.

When Shannon woke up she fished her bikini out of her suitcase, spread her towel and let the first rays of sunlight warm her skin. She didn't pay any attention to Sawyer, who looked at her from head to toe, grinned and passed and ignored her brother, Boone, who was telling her she had to be usefull for a change.

Jack had dozed of for a few hours and woke some time after dawn. He went into the jungle and soon found a tree with papayas, which he would have for breakfast. After returning to the beach, he packed a bag with water and fruit, and waited for the others to be prepared.

Drew yawned as she got up right after dawn. She slicked her hair back with her hands and slowly stood up. Her ankle was allmost completely healed. She found it quite strange but she was grateful that it was so non the less. Drew then prepared to leave with Jack and several others later that morning. Howevver it seemed that it might be awhile before the rest were ready to leaave so she went through the pile of luggage that she and Sayid had gathered the day before. To her great luck she found her backpack. Out of it she took a book and sat on the beach reading. Looking up from her book she spotted a still sleeping Charlie and shook her head.
Sayid woke up at dawn. He ever heard that there would be a group going out into the jungle latter that day and he was determined to go with them. So he found a water bottle and began gathering a few things for the trip.

Arianna awoke as the first rays of light tinted the sky. Yawning, she slowly sat up and brushed back a loose strand of raven hair. Glancing around the camp, she saw that others were just beginning to stir while others were already up. Remembering that she planned to join the group that morning, she quickly opened her bag and took out her bottled water and a few bars that she brought with her from the flight. Packing the items in her carry on knapsack, she hurriedly prepared for their expedition.

Misha slowly opened her eyes after a very short sleep. Pictures of the day before were flashing through her mind, she couldn't yet realize the whole thing. She got up and walked over to the beach, where already others of the group from yesterday were. Misha went for a walk on the beach. It was quite early in the morning. She stared out to the horizont "Why is this happening to us" she thought again, already being lost in her thoughts.
