"Aye, sir, me too," said Jake truthfully, also putting his hand on his heart.

Lee smiled at Jake. He was starting to like this guy. He thought as he waited for Jack's reply.

Barbossa chose to disregard the query, his answer already being an obvious, emphatic No. "There seems to have been a slight misunderstandin' when last we parted," he said, foregoing any further pleasantries. "Ye seem to have mistakenly made off with my charts, leavin' us without much of a bearin' to go by. But I'm sure t'was all just an honest mistake an' easily rectifiable, aye?"

"Not your charts. Sao Fengs'." Captain Jack corrected Barbossa with a protesting finger.
Jack tottered the dinghy and he managed to step forward. A cunning smirk then appeared over his mouth and he continued on to say, "An' an honest mistake can only be rectifiable when I'm aboard my ship to rectify it."
Resting in an awkward silence Jack lifted his hands up and ordered, "Now, throw me rope to climb aboard."

((Turwaithiel Swann asked me to take over here charries while she is gone, just so everyone knows.))
Jake turn around to look for a rope. There was one a few feet past Lee. "Hey, give me that rope, Lee."
"Sure," said Lee, turning around, grabbing the rope and handing it to Jake.
Jake grabbed the rope and threw it into Jacks boat, "There ye go, cap'ne Jack."

Jack's intelligent tottering of the dinghy nearly threw Gibbs overboard - no doubt the intended result. He glared at the back of his captain's head - something he seemed to be doing a lot lately - and squinted up at Barbossa. There was one who needed some cheering up. He wondered if the man ever smiled.
Though, truth be granted, a smiling Barbossa would send all nearby crewmembers to the other side of the ship. The sight simply couldn't bode well.
Despite their captain's... ah... lack of hospitality, the crewmembers seemed all too happy to welcome Sparrow back. A good sign, if ever there should be a mutiny. A daunting thought, but best to keep one's options open. Gibbs took one look at the rope, then at the perilously rocking dinghy, and decided that he should get rid of his captain first. "Go on ahead," he suggested brightly, gesturing at the rope.

"Now that's what I love to see," Jack exclaimed to the ones above, as he clamped the rope between his rough hands. He’d apparently lost interest in the man standing behind him.
Jack pushed his boots off the swaying dinghy and caught the rope well. The pirate pressed his boots up against the side of the Pearl and like a skilled cat, climbed his way up and then hopped over the side of the rail to the deck.
Jack stood, healthy as ever, his arms folded across his chest. "Now, where were we?" said Jack, noting the look Barbossa was giving him.

Jack's query was immediately met with the click of a pistol being cocked. "The charts," Barbossa demanded evenly, keeping the pistol steadily trained on Jack and extending his free hand. His gaze briefly shifted toward the crew to indicate that they should be doing the same, then moved immediately back to Jack. "Now."

Jake looked from Jack to Barbossa, then back at Jack. There was no way he was pointing a pistol at Jack Sparrow.
Lee also made no move to grab a pistol. He wanted Jack back.
At this point Pintel came up from the deck, thinking every thing was OK. There hadn't been a shot fired. Right when he saw pistols pointed at Jack he ran right back down, not wanting to be apart of this problem.

Jack winced his nose and he looked upon the barrel aimed straight towards his red bandana. "Aye, now. . ." he repeated, slowly reaching into his coat.
But, suddenly with a quick jostle, instead of the charts, Sparrow's pistol appeared in his hand, and he too aimed it at his enemy. Click. His pistol was cocked.
"It’s a fair point to be sure about the charts mate, but what can I say? Hell’s too cold for the likes of meself. Savvy?"

Ragetti's neck had started to hurt from swiveling to observe the touchy negotiations currently being held. He wondered uneasily which captain would shoot the other first, if it came to that, and if the shot one would have time to shoot the un-shot one, or if he would miss...and then the thought occurred that he really didn't want to be anywhere where there was shooting in any case.
Jack's dinghy was there, after all. Ragetti tentatively peered over the side...back at the captains...back over the side. Best to observe happenings and react accordingly, he decided, trying to melt into the woodwork at well as possible. No point in gettin' one of those two angry at you.

Gibbs climbed over the ship's rail to be confronted by a bit of a surprise. Aye, that one definitely needed some cheering up. But what could he say? A bullet shot in the head didn't appeal to his fancies either, especially when that shot could be avoided.
With this in mind, he was just getting comfortable pointing his own pistol at Jack when - click. Oh, for the love of... Why did these two always have to make matters so complicated? He looked at his cocked pistol, shrugged, and swung it right on over towards Barbossa.
"Aye, ye deserve a nice" - here he pantomimed a gun and stuck it to his temple - "fer that trick ye played back in Tortuga."

((hm... does anybody know the names of those two guards from the Pirates movies? In the first one they were trying to stop Jack from getting on that ship and started arguing about the black pearl, and in the third they were guarding Davy's chest with his heart with those mini cannons and started arguing... 'cause didn't they sorta join the pirates kind of? What exactly happened to them?))
