'That doesn't make it right!' Her head was hot and fuzzy, but she could still make out Kira well enough, though she couldn't put a name to the face. The part of her that was observing the rest would have sighed if it could; but as it was it made sure to point out to the rest of her mind that she seemed to be fighting a losing battle. But she refused to believe it. It wasn't right, it couldn't be, she wasn't going to believe it...

Scarlett hides her face in her hands, and bites her lip to stop her yelling and bringing attention from elsewhere in the building. It...wouldn't...stop...hurting. She mutters under her breath, mostly incoherently, but the words 'on pain of death' can be heard, but are almost inaudiable. She'd done what she thought what was right. BUt that didn't mean her actions came without consequence...
