Location: Narnia, somewhere near Cair Paravel
"Cauwen! Cauwen! Where are you??" Elrenia screamed frantically. She ran, even though she was tired and hardly had any time to recover. Elrenia looked around and suddenly she was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar forest. She took deep breaths to calm down and took out her snowglobe to get back to Cair Paravel, and mostly, the others.

Lessien ran out with the Ring of Shadow and tried to close the leak."We must close it we must!!!!" She said with a tired sigh. She was so tired that her power was lessening and she retreated to the Castle.

Meanwhile, in the forest, Cauwen was slowly regaining a little of her strength. She could now think a little more clearly and realized with a jolt of shock that she'd been kidnapped! She remembered that the girl's name was Andriel and that she was trying to "help". But Cauwen didn't feel "helped". Her pain had only worsened. She tried to call out to her friends but the cry caught in her throat and she swallowed it back down. Warm, uninvited tears pricked the corners of her eyes, blurring her vision. She tried to brush them away but her fingers felt numb and stiff.

Cerita looked around frantically, taking in the shadowlings and the leak. "Why didn't it stay closed?" She asked, her voice slightly panicked. "How did the leak open again? If it doesn't stay closed, how can we defeat the shadowlings? We won't be able to stay here forever, eternally closing this leak while others spring open all over the Realm!" She was definitely worried now, and she had started gesturing wildly with each new sentence.

(We should probably do some more actual story, and not quite so much battling, or else this could get old fast.)

Arbiter caught his breath, and then ran out to join the battle. The leak was much smaller than it had been last time, and there was nowhere near as many shadowlings. "Soldiers, use your shields to direct the direct the sunlight at the creatures." he shouted as he joined the fray. The beasts quickly retreated back to the leak. The sun had already started to drain the creatures, and the soldiers reflective shields bouncing the sunlight at the creatures made it an easy battle to deal with. Arbiter then grabbed two fist sized metal balls, one in each hand, and threw it into the leak. There was a small explosion on the other side then the two balls became many little ones, shooting in all directions. There was a bunch of rapid beeping. Arbiter quickly stretched out a pair of shadow hands, and began to close the tear. When it was almost closed there was an orchestra of loud explosions, and then a blinding light seemed to come out of the leak right before it was sealed up. Arbiter released his shadows turned around, saw the surprised looks, shrugged, and then said "What, it was artificial light set up in hundreds of small explosives. My own little inventions. now they will have to access to there passageways until they repair the shadows that surround them, and it while take a while for them to do that. Now, if you don't mind....I would like to go sit down." He then headed back toward the castle, where, he hoped, he would be able to rest some, before the next catastrophe.

Caladriel followed Arbiter at a distance, also wanting to take a rest. She went to the room where they had left Elrenia and Cauwen, but... the room was empty! She ran back. "Elrenia and Cauwen are missing!" she yelled.

Elrenia said her destination, and arrived in Cair Paravel just when Caladriel started raising the alarm. Once she was there, she said,"Cauwen is missing!" Which was right after Caladriel finished her sentence.

Andriel returned and sat next to Cauwen. "Are you strong enough to talk?" She asked. "Yes," Cauwen managed. "Take... me.... back.... to..... Cair..... Paravel...." Andriel grimaced. "No, I can't, " she apologized, then turned away from Cauwen.

Cauwen opened her mouth to speak. But the strange girl returned and cut her off. "Look, I don't know who you are," she cried defiantly, "but you are not giving Cauwen the proper treatment!"

(Let's just say nobody knows who my new character, Andriel, is. Yet. )
