Post subject:  Windmill Stables ( join!)
ok the setting is deep in the English countryside.

It is a horse stables and a farm ( if you want to have cows or chickens or dog w/e but it's mainly for horses)

I'm Hannah Walsh an Irish 21 year old who owns a half of the ranch and the other half belongs to her Grandma who can no longer take care of it so it's up to Hannah to hire trainers for horses and hire lesson teachers to teach lessons and to take care of the barn and have people own hroses at her stables.

It is primarily a english riding stables lessons are english but i guess you can have a western horse if you please. but there will be no lessons in western ridingjust

You can be a:

Trainer( train your own horses and other peoples)
Lesson teacher( teach lessons )
Owner
Breeder( This can also have breeding horses in it. there will be a seperate stable and pasture for it)

yeah and anything else just chekc out with me
Please specify if your horse or hroses may be used as school horses ( i will have other schoool horses but if you dont mind say so)

you can have a many horse as you like as long as you can tke care of them:P

She is not a horse trainer but at her young age she shows a promising skill with horses and is training her own horses and (if you ask her nicely!:P) She'll train your horses for you - not fully, but she will give them a training sessions. (Free of charge if she likes you, or the horse.) (Yes, she is kinda based on me but I don't have such a high opinion of myself!) Her horses.

oh and a little more info before we get started:
There is a main barn ( where most school horses are kept)
A Breeding barn/ where the breeding horses are kept
and 15 runs
theres also 2 jumping arenas
one cross country course
and 2 dressage arenas
and one basic arena
2 pastures
and one trail ( for trail rides)

Hannah was just finishing up tacking up Fred for her new riders lesson. Her name was Danielle and this was her first riding lesson EVER! She loves horses but has never been able to take lessons until she was older. Now that she is 12 she can start taking them. Hannah saw Danielle walk out of the parking lot thing. Hannah took Fred and introduced them to each other. Her mother was with her and Hannah and her shook hands. " Alrighty then," sadi Hannah," let's get you started." " After the lesson I will be showing you how to tack up and un tack your own horse so you can start doing it when you come for your lesson. " Danielle was excited. She mounted Fred and Hannah led them around the arena once and then put Danielle on a lunge line.

Stacy entered the stables and grinned, waving goodbye to her mom. The stables always made her grin. She looked at the arena and saw Hannah leading around some girl on Fred. She waved at her and headed to her own horses stables. Her horses were out and she picked up a wheelbarrow and pitchfork. She entered and began mucking out. She finished and left the stable to get find her horse, Cassie. (Changing her name ti Cassie instead of Katie, thanks.) The black mare came trotting up to her, all to eager to be ridden.

Hailey drove up in her red pick-up. The red-head eighteen-year-old girl stepped out, and closed the door, stuffing the keys into a pocket in her leggings. She went to two stalls that were right next to each other. Two horse's heads popped out, and black one and a white one.
"Hey babies," Hailey said to them, giving Star a carrot, and Dragon an apple. The two munched the treats happily. Hailey clicked a lead rope to Dragon's halter, and led his to some cross-ties, where she groomed the white stallion, and tacked him up...

Lily drove up to the stables and got out. She had lots of work to do, and not a lot of time to do it. She thought of her three horses, all of which needed different training today. Tahoe, her Thoroughbred gelding, needed to be jumped. As every lesson with Tahoe started out, Lily would join up with him in the round pen. She believed in creating a strong bond so that they can achieve more without force. She would just take Freckles out on trail, possibly bareback. And Molly needed to be hand-walked and groomed.

Lily got out of her car and walked up to Freckles' stall. He hung his head over his stall and let out a shrill whinny. Lily smiled and got a bridle, bareback pad, and grooming kit from her tack room. A nice trail ride would get her ready for the hectic traiing day ahead of her.

Stacy caught her eager mare easily. Leading her into the stable, though, was another matter. Cassie found every possible excuse she could to tug at Stacy's arms. Just before Stacy got entirely fed up, the entered the stable and Cassie went placidly into her stall. Stacy laughed to herself at the irony of it all, then went to get Cassie's tack. She led the mare out and began to groom her.
(Just so that I know if I need to go to school or what, when is it? Summer, fall, etc)

Lily led Freckles out of his stall. She adjusted the back pads underneath his bareback pad to help his swayback. She mounted and rode him out on the trail.

The trees seemed to whisper in the warm breeze. Freckles lowered his head and stopped to graze. Lily sat, relaxed, on his back and let him eat the grass that they were walking on. After a while, Lily pulled his head up gently and picked up a trot on the trail. She could see the beginning of a stream, shallow with tiny rapids flowing in front of them. She gathered her reins and pushed Freckles into a collected canter. He leapt forward into the gait and kept even strides.
3, 2, 1, up! Lily thought. She grasped the long mane tangled in her hands and stretched up into position. As they landed, Freckles sped up excitedly. Lily allowed him to run at a handgallop until they reached a rocky part of the trail. She smiled as she saw two logs in a row. She picked up a canter after the rocky path and headed towards them.
Freckles became behind the bit and his strides were uneven. Lily pulled him to a trot and picked up the canter again. This time, she felt him relax as she loosened her reins. His strides were colected and even. Before she could think of anything else, she stretched up and they were over the first log. The other log was a bit higher. The trunk was wider than the first, but Lily knew Freckles only too well and he would never give up a chance for a good jump. They veered toward the side of the jump but not totally. Lily put Freckles back in the middle and relaxed in her seat. She stretched up again and Freckled pricked his ears over the jump. They landed perfectly! Freckled started breathing harder, so Lily slowed him to a relaxed walk. They headed back to Windmill and she untacked him. It was a great ride.

Hailey led Dragon to the beginning of a cross country course, and watche a blue ford mustang drive up, and out step a 19 year old boy, with shaggy brown hair, brown eyes, and a strong build. He wore brown riding pants, a baggy blue T-shirt, and knee high boots. He walked up to Hailey and Dragon, a stop-watch in hand.
"read to begin?" he asked Hailey, she nodded and mounted.
"ready... go" Keith started the stop-watch as Hailey got Dragon to a canter.
Dragon jumped over the first three crosscountry jumps perfectly. Next was a hounty looking brush jump.Dragon hesitated, thenHailey urged him, and he jumped over, ears mavering questioningly. When Dragon crossed the finnish line, Keith stopped the stopwatch, and called out the time, "4 minutes, and 10 seconds. Your best time so far. Good job you two!"
