[Well, actually my birthday is tomorrow, but as I don't know how often I'll manage it to get online, I thought that I should start my party already today. Welcome to my A-U birthday party!


Finally, the day of Rose's birthday had come. She was pretty glad, as she had felt that she could hardly wait any longer. The last days had seemed like an eternity.
Nervously she walked through the room and finished her last preparations. The great ball room of Rivendell was beautifully decorated, the snacks and the drinks were placed on a large table, the music was playing in the background. Everything was perfect !
Now Rose waited for her guests to come. She had sent various invitations and invited many of her friends and hoped that she would spent an unforgettable evening together with them in Rivendell...

"I've just become 2871 years now [or 19 years if you convert Elvish years into our calendar], so I guess I'm one of the oldest of all you merry people that live here.", Rose answered.

"Oh, I don't know exactly...[In fact I only guessed that 19 might be 2871 Elvish years ]", Rose had to admit. "Let me think about it for a moment...Well, you should be about 2266 years old then."
