It's 1806. Napoleon has taken over much of Europe, and is striving for more. England is fighting back. The HMS Steadfast has orders to deliver valuable documents, including Letters of Marque and battle plans to the Portuguese army. While sailing, the ship is attacked by French privateers, who steal the documents and take a hostage. The captain decides to pursue the privateers.

Hair: Very curly and blonde

General: slender and not tall or muscular, but strong. Not extremely pretty but definetely not ugly. Wears a white shirt with bell-cuff sleeves and a red vest, as well as trousers and an old three-cornered hat. She has whip scars across her back.
Personality: Outgoing, though rather secretive, stubborn, knows what she wants and is accustomed to getting it. Opinionated and quick-thinking.
History: At the age of seven Isobel was kidnapped and sold into slavery. She was sold and resold until nobody, not even she, knew who she was, and only she remembered her own name. When she was fourteen she shot, but did not kill, a man who threatened her, and was sold as a galley slave. She escaped three years later and is intensely secretive about her past.

Appearance: Shoulder-length brown hair, tanned skin, grey-blue eyes. He's tall and well-built.
Personality: Determined, a fighter and natural leader. He's passionate about the English cause, and is willing to go to great lengths for it.
History: Jacob's father, a sailor, took his son with him on voyages, teaching him about ships. Over several years, Jacob worked his way up from leiutenant to captain of the <i>Steadfast</i>.

Appearance: cropped brown-red hair, not overly tall but much stronger than he looks, which is relatively well-built.
Personality: Sly, conniving and a born pirate. He doesn't show much emotion, and is good at frightening people.
History: His father was a privateer before him and he was practically born on the sea, as he never knew his mother. His father told him before he was killed that she died in childbirth.

I'll post a bio tommorrow or so, to give myself a little while to think of a really good one.

I doubt I'll play a doctor, since they don't have nearly enough fighting time, but....I might still be a cellist (since I play that in real life).

One thing about playing Jack as a Privateer - he'd have to be an English Privateer or something, since he doesn't seem to like the French much at all (I can't see him working as a French Privateer).

Personally, I have trouble imagining Jack as a privateer at all, but I agree, he'd definetely be for the English.
