This is an RPG that popped into my head this morning when I was listening to 'He's my Son' by Mark Shultz. So, here we go.

PLOT

Joel Matthews, an energetic, fun-loving 16 year old, was well on his way to the Olympics as a professional archer. He had arched all his life, ever sense he could hold a bow in his hand. But now, his life dream in the Olympics has come crashing down in ashes after a car accident leaves him blind, as well as making his legs anything but stable. After this, he puts his equipment in the closet, thinking there is not a chance he will ever arch again, much less live out his life dream. In addition to this, his mother, Lisa, has just ben diagnosed with lung cancer. He and his father are left with very little after he having been in a car accident, and now they cannot pay for Joel's mother's surgery. But in all this, a former Olympian archer, Eithan King, Whom has heard Joel's story, says he just might be able to create a system for Joel, so that he can arch again. But it will take lots of patience and experimenting, as well as alot of effort on Joel's part. Joel dosn't want to take the risk of losing savings for his mother's surgery, but she herself wants him to take the oppertunity. Eventually, he and his father accept, and now they are on the long course of finding something that might work. In the meantime, Joel spends his time job hunting to raise money for Lisa's surgery, and going to the gym trying to strengthen his weak legs. Will all this effort go for nothing, and leave Joel and his dreams in the dust yet again? Or, can they achieve the impossible?
