Post subject:  Mary-Sue Madness
Ever find yourself battling an irrestistible urge to make a perfect, beautiful, spit-fire character that makes every RPer miles around roll their eyes? Here's the place to get it out of your system :)

This is how it works: The RP is set in a miscellaneous fantasy world (to allow for flexibility) and it's a ball setting. So, you know, dancing and whatnot. There's only one rule: If you're playing a female character, you also must play a male character to make sure everybody gets a partner on the dance floor (and you know, sappy romance may follow), and vice versa. You don't have to be creative, you can play the most desperate Mary-Sue (or Marty-Sam) to walk the earth. I know I have the urge to, quite often. So come up with a couple characters, and go to it :D Feel free to describe your character down to her eyelashes if you so desire, but remember A-U is PG-rated.

There's room for two princes and two princesses, because as you might expect, it's mostly monarchs who give balls. Just remember that regardless of whether you're playing one of those or not, you still have to have a male and a female character.

Name: Farian Dragonbane.
Gender: Male
Age:21
Appearance: Very tall and muscular. Tan skin. Black hair, bright green eyes. Beautiful smile. Very good looking.
Personality: Kind a caring. He is very polite, but never afraid to fight for what he loves.
History: He grew up in an abusive home. At age 13 he was kicked out of his house and was forced to live on the streets. However, he found an uncle who he was related to. This uncle was very rich, and unfortunately very old. The man died, leaving all his wealth to Farian. One day while walking along a desolate path, an old woman began to speak to him. She called him "Dragon Bane", a name he decided to keep. He could not understand what the oman was saying, but it seemed to be a sort of profecy. Despite his rough up bringing, Farian is the perfect gentleman.
Other: Is a superb fighter. He is also an expert in magic.
Companions: Tall Friesian horse (black) named Coalnight. Dark grey hawk named Skyking.

Name: Grace Hiltrose
Gender: female
Age:19
Appearance: Tall and shapely. She has pale milky skin and dark auburn hair. Bright blue eyes.
Personality: Spit-fire. She stands up for herself no matter what. She is kind to all.
History: She was born wealthy, and was forced to marry another man whom she did not love. He was cruel to his servants and underlings. She fled before the marriage to an orphanage. They took her in, and once she turned 18 she went back home, only to find her last relative, her father, on his death bed. He gave her what little he could: A silver hitled dagger and the gift of shapeshifting, a secret he kept from the family, and his whole estate.
Other: Can talk to animals, is a skilled fighter, and can use magic.
Companion:Horse named Diamond. She is an arabian white mare.

Vengeance, age range looks like being around ages 13-24. Ish.

Here are mine:

Name: Alassea
Age: 17
Race: Elf
Gender: Female
Appearance: Curly black hair and green eyes, and very tiny (4'11) and slender.
Personality: Bright and inquisitive, and rather innocent. Can be shy, but opens up once she knows someone, and finds life as royalty deathly boring.
History: Grew up quite pampered and always doing embarassing things, which she still does occasionally. Being the youngest she tends to have not much of a sense of propriety.
Other: Is extremely talented with a bow and arrow and has almost convinced her father to let her learn how to fence. Can use magic, but doesn't much.

Just a note - Alassea is the youngest, so other royal family members will be older than her.

Name: Rilien
Age: 21
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Personality: Friendly and likes to laugh, but can be serious when needed. Has perfect manners and is very chivalrous.
History: He was born the son of a noble and spent much of his life riding and learning to fight, which he enjoys very much. His mother died when he was very small.
Other: lightning-fast with weapons, and knows it, but doesn't use magic.

Appearance: long golden hair that shines O so prettily in the sunlight... *cough*... dancing hazel eyes flecked with green and gold, slender and willowy... and beautiful, O so beautiful...
History: Daughter of some loser who happened to be nobly born... uh...

Lol, obviously they're not going to be in love :P That's why everyone has a male and a female, so that your characters can dance (and *cough* do other stuff) with someone else's charrie :D

Appearance: Tall, rather thin build, but is stronger than he looks. Has short-cropped black hair and clear blue eyes. Handsome, if not overly so.
Personality: Quiet and passive, yet very courteous as is expected of someone of his position.
History: As the eldest son, he grew up with many more responsibilties than his other siblings. Yet, he accepted all this in stride, even though he chafes at the propriety expected of him at times.
Other: Is a very skilled swordsman, and is also adept with magic(just a few abilities).

Name: Alaina
Age: 21
Race: Elf
Gender: Female
Appearance: Tall, very slender. Her long black hair reaches to the small of her back, and she has brilliant blue eyes. Fair, yet considers herself rather average looking.
Personality: Usually cheery, if a bit quiet and withdrawn from others. Very courteous and kind, however, as is expected.
History: The second-eldest child and eldest daughter, she was brought up a proper young lady, and even though she acts as she should, she often longs to escape the 'sheltered' life of royalty.
Other: Is very skilled with the bow, one of the best archers around, and can use magic to a limited degree(limited mostly to healing).
