" Thanks" Kasey said. As the amblunce pulled up, Kasey got up, and lead Alouette back to her stall. She tied the lead line so Alouette couldent move much. Kasey gave Alouette a suger cube and a kiss on the nose. The parameidicts walked in, and Hayden slowly regained conciuss. " What happend?" One of the paramedics asked as the other checked out Haydens face and places a warn wet cloth over it to clean it and controll the bleeding. Hayden quickly anwser in a horse voice. " A horse reard up, trying to attack Kasey's horse. I knew Kasey wasent going to move, so I got in its way." Hayden looked up meating Kasey's worried eyes. " To protect her" Hayden finally finished. The paramedic broke the silence. " There dosent seem to be any real damage, just come to the veiclee so I can stitch you up. " Hayden got up and wobblie walked over to the amblunce, with the other paramedics head, and sat on the bed. Kasey watched from the outside. Hayden had noticed and gave her a comforting smile. Once they were finished, Hayden was fine, with five stitches running across his face, then came the bill. She herd 40 dallers and she quickly rushed up and pulled out 2 twentys out of her back pocket. Hayden sat down on the banch, and rested his eyes. " Take a easy kid." And the amblunce left. " You really did that for me?" Kasey asked sitting down next to him.

Mercedes watched in silence as the paramedics helped Hayden. She felt terrible about what happened. Meekly, she walked up to him, and keeping her eyes cast down she said,
"I'm real sarry 'bout what happened."
She wouldn't look at him fully in the face.

Hayden smiled." Ah, Its ok, just a freek acident. I'm Hayden by the way. You new here?" He asked Kasey walked over to Alouette, and herd anouther car pull up. " Must be the vet. " She mutteerd. Alouette let out a loud whinnie. Kasey smiled. She hoped that Alouette wasent very badly hurt, the only way she can keep her is by Alouette whinnings.

Kasey Stood in the isle, and she saw the vet walk up. Hayden layed his head back and rested, having a head ace. The vet, named Dr. Ella greated Kasey. " Good afternoon, Kasey. What seems to be the problem?" Kasey explianed what happend, as Dr. Ella ran her hand down Alouette leg, she winced in pain. She descriped to Kasey that Alouette isent ridable for about a month, even then it will be a while, before Kasey can get Alouette in a compition to get some money. Dr. Ella wraped Alouette leg, with a ice wrap, and gave Kasey some pillow wrap and blue bandage. Kasey Whisperd in the vets ear, then the vet walked over to Mercades. " I here you horse got bucked in his side, near the rib area. Want me to check it out? No cost." She asked. Kasey stood behind smiling.

"hang on..."
she ran out and got him from the pasture, and brought him in. She cross tied him so he couldnt bite.
"Go ahead." She said, keeping a firm hand on his halter."
she smiled at Kasey meekly.

Dr. Ella ran her hand down GQ's stumach, easily picking up were he had been bucked. Kasey stood near Alouette stall, just incase she tried doing something stupid, but luckly she dident. "Its a bit swollen in that area, just be carefull. Hes fine." Dr. Ella said then walked over the Kasey. " Just but it all on my acount."Kasey said and the vet left.

Mercedes said, unhooking Galaxy Quest from the cross ties. The stallion lunged backwards, but couldnt get away from the leadrope that his owner firmly held.
"You need a workout to get you calmed down a bit." Mercedes told the horse. That normally consisted of a long lunging session, then arena work and if he was good... jumping corse.

" Have fun" Kasey said as Mercades walked away with GQ. Kasey walked over to Hayden. " You ok? You look a bit feaverish." Kasey asked him. " Yea, I'll be fine. Dont you worry about me." Hayden said. " Do you need anything?" She asked. " Can you bring Braden out of his stall?" He asked. " sure." Kasey simply responded.

Mercedes had GQ in the aren, and moved him out. GQ responded with a snort, but did as told. He walked and trotted fine, but when asked to canter, he launched with a buck. Galaxy Quest snorted and continued the ruff pace. Mercedes let him wear himself out until he responded. After lunging him, she saddled him up and rode in him the arena. He behaved beautifully, and even preformed some of the dressage moves Mercedes had been working on with him.
"Good boy!" Mercedes praised, patting his lathered neck. She moved him out of the arena and towards the cross country coarse.

Alsotal walked around his stall. Cooling off. "Hows my pretty boy." Jake said. Jake walked Alsonal around feeling that hadyen was watching him. Rearing up in fear. "Alsotal hush boy or no race." Jake said. Jake looked over at hadyen. Jake know that Hadyen was getting to near. "You spooked my horse,Hadyen. Jake said trying to comfort Alsonal.

Mercedes rode Galaxy Quest towards the first jump of the cross country coarse. They cleared it, and she patted his neck fondly.
"Good GQ!" she praised. They cantered towards the next one. Mercedes waited till GQ was about to launch before she sat in two point. This jump, too, they cleared. However, on the landing, GQ bucked, and Mercedes fell. She hit the ground hard, knocking the wind out of her... but was otherwise alright. Although, Galaxy Quest took off at a gallop.
"Oh man!" She said.
"Help! Someone help!" she hollared, trying to run after him. Hopefully soemone had a fast horse who could catch him.
"Please someone help me!!"

Jake saw the girl fall and her horse race away. "Alsotal lets go boy." Jake said racing after the horse. Grapping his rains. Jake help the girl up. "Are you OK." Asked jake.

"Next time horse... I'll be ready." she growled.

"You need to train him." Jake said letting Alsotal wonder off.
"Thats what I did with Alsotal when I got him." Jake said. Jake whistle once for Alsotal to come over.
"I have to go tarin for the big race this Sunday I will see you a round." Jake said as he walked off.

She nodded, and watched him walk off. Her eyes narrowed and she muttered.
"Get him trained..." thats exactly what she was trying to do. He was a wild horse... unbroken spirit. Mercedes knew he'd always have a wildness about him. At least he was getting better. She led him back to the barn and untacked him. He had calmed down considerably. After he was cooled off, she let him back out into the pasture where he immediatly rolled. After grazing some, he looked over the fence to some mares in the distance. He whinnied loudly, trying to get there attention. It didnt work. He paced the fenceline, neighing loudly.
