The Marauders and their friends are in their final year but some things are a bit different like the fact that Lily Evans and James Potter became Heads and Lily now knows about Remus' transformations. James finally decided to give Lily some space and he's not asking her out anymore, but that doesn't mean his feelings are buried.... Sirius Black is still on the run, his moodiness almost disappeared when he left his parents' house and moved in with the Potters. Remus is happy to see that he and all of his friends are still alive, but he's becoming more and more worried about their future - he is the only one who is taking Voldemort seriously. In the mean time, Peter starts feeling like he's left behind. His friends aren't spending so much time around anymore, they are always busy - James and Sirius with quidditch and Remus in the library. So he starts getting some dark thoughts and in time he becomes a puppet of the Slytherins who joined Voldemort (Bellatrix, Lucius...). Lily is still pretty much the same. She's still pretty, best student... But she started missing all that attention she was receiving from James. They are now friends somewhat and she likes it, but she still wants more. </center>

You sure can - both of you =) And I'm glad that you like the plot.
And Will - there is a meaning. They have to save their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. Voldemort just started, he just started showing his full power and Death Eaters started killing people.
This should be a real fun =) We only need Peter now. And we have to wait for Pearly to edit the post

"UGH!"

Lily Evans made a fuss about shredding her defense against the dark arts essay into what looked like a million tiny pieces and tossing it into a wastebasket. From there, she returned to her seat and whipped a fresh piece of parchment from a bag near her feet. She ran a shakey hand through her tousled red hair and released a sigh, beginning to flip through the book from which she was writting her paper with. At the rate she was going, this was never going to get done, especially since it was almost..

Eleven o'clock. Wonderful.

The Gryffindor was sitting in a rather comfy chair in front of the fireplace. She dressed in her pajamas, ready to go to sleep. As a matter of fact, she should have been sleeping for an hour already! But, unlike her typical 'get everything done two weeks before it is due' trend, she let herself slip with this godforsaken essay to go to Hogsmeade with Charlotte. Now look at what happened!

"This was very irresponsible, you know that?" Evans muttered quietly to herself, paying no attention to her fellow peers, "Maybe if you would have finished the bloody thing last week you could have been reading something for fun, not because you have to."

Sirius walked through the common room of Gryffindor, looking for his best friend James. But instead of James he noticed Lily Evans in the corner of the common room, busy with homework.
"You know Evans, that talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity..?" he grinned as he walked by. He scanned the common room again but no sign of James. It was too late for him to be still on the field for Quidditch training was it?
"Have you seen Potter by any chance?" He sat down in a large armchair next to her and stretched himself, looking quite lazy.

((Sirius didn't play Quidditch did he?))

"Uh oh," said Remus from a corner where he was reading. His long fingers absently went up and swiped his brown curly hair out of his eyes. "If you need James at eleven o' clock at night, that can mean only one thing. Trouble." He flipped a page and eased back into the arm chair.

James was done for the night. Patrolling was one of the things he hated with a passion. He never imagined that he, of all people, would be one of those party breakers who would just spoil everything and give detentions to students who were just trying to have some fun - after the curfew that was. After all he understood that there certainly were some things which you just couldn't do while corridors were full of students. You couldn't explore, sneak out or do anything interesting for the matter.

He was a Marauder and he was proud of it. Everyone knew that he and his friends deserved many more detentions then they ever got and that they were the masterminds behind almost every prank which had been preformed in the school. That was the reason why he was so surprised when he discovered a badge in the envelope in which his letter arrived. Sirius still strongly believed that Dumbledore lost his mind completely. From his words - that was the only possible explanation why he decided to give James the position of the Head Boy.

He muttered the password and waited few moments for the Fat Lady to move and let him enter the Gryffindor Common room. Lately he didn't spend much time around here. After he and Lily became heads their dorms were moved to the heads quarters. This was still his home though, this was the place where all his friends were.

"Talking about me?" he asked as he approached to Sirius and Remus. Too late he noticed that Lily was there as well. "See Moony, my friend, sometimes I wonder do you even know your friends. Padfoot and I never, ever caused trouble." he said dramatically and grinned while trying to look innocent. Obviously, it didn't work too well.

" Ah, there you are, Prongs. I was starting to believe you actually liked your new job.." Sirius said with a worried tone in his voice. Still his eyes sparkled as he winked at Remus. "Moony and I decided you have to take a break.. Actually we want the old James back.." He continued even more serious "Now of course I completely understand, my friend why you are out patrolling so often." He smiled at Lily, then grinned and waited for a moment as if he was looking for the right words: "But we think it's eh.. affecting you.."
"So why don't we have some fun this night?" Sirius smiled mischieviously and he knew his friend got the message.

Lily rolled her eyes at Sirius, "No I have not seen Potter." she said quietly as she leaned into the chair and sighed deeply. She honestly didn't know why she was hee, but it was better then being up in their own dorm, alone... she knew James was on patrol and she honestly didn't like being up there alone, yeah, freaky, she felt confortable with James around her.

Lily looked up as she heard James' voice and smirked slightly, "Speak of the devil..." she said as she looked back down at her parchment, seeming completly innocent.

James raised his eyebrows as Sirius started. Seriously, it was funny to even think that he started liking the patrolling and everything similar. It was a major pain, it was responsibility, no one ever asked did he like it, it was just something he had to do.

"Evans it's nice to see you too. Nice company you have there. Wouldn't pick better myself." he said and chuckled "Oh really? You and Moony decided? How nice." he said slowly, almost lazily as he flopped down in one of the armchairs "And the old James? Sorry, I locked him in the closet back at home. I had to. He said that he would start forming first fish quidditch team." he said and stuck out his tongue at Sirius.

He sank down in the chair and closed his eyes just for one moment so he missed the moment when Sirius smiled at Lily. In a way Sirius was right and James regretted his decision to get in the common room before heading to his dorm. Spending time around Lily wasn't as easy as it used to be.

"Now when did I refuse such an offer. I'll tell you - never!" he said grinning again. He was anxious to get out of here "I'm in, you know that I'm in."

He rolled his eyes at the two of them jesting. One eyebrow raised as Sirius said the word "Fun." Oh yeah cause running into monsters in the Dark Forest and nearly getting killed by the Whomping Willow was a real hoot? However, this time he'd tag along, seeing as he hadn't participated in the two's more recent ideas of fun.

"Someone has to look after you hooligans," mumbled Remus, putting his book down. "I'm in too."

The red-head sitting by the fire sighed and rolled her eyes, she then bent down and piccked up her bag, Lily muttered something under her breath as she stuffed the sheets in, she'd just have to not hand it in and get a detention, wait... she was meant to set an example, being head girl and all.

Lily then glanced up at the boys as she stood up, "Well, nightie night boys." she said sarcastically as she flung the bag over her shoulder, "I'm gonna sleep, you have fun having fun..." she said, she then looked down at the ground, wondering if that made any sense.
