A newly-built ship, the Arlina, is setting sail to the Americas from Plymouth. It's modern day, 2007. The Arlina is luxurious, cruise-like ship, not to mention gigantic. In the middle of the Atlantic, they realize the ship was not built correctly to hold that much weight. With over a thousand people, the ship sinks.

Adrienn set down her luggage. A gigantic ship was docked in front of her. Arlina was painted boldly on the side of the ship. It was large and white.
A small vibration in her purse broke through her amazement. "Hello?" Adrienn irritably answered her cell phone. "Hi Daddy," She said smiling. "You won't believe how big the ship is, Daddy!" Adrienn readjusted her Gucci sunglasses and watched some passengers get onto the ship. Her focus was distracted from the conversation with her father. "I have to go, looks like their boarding. Yes, I'll be safe. I'll meet Aunt Carrie when I get to America. Bye!" Adrienn stuffed the phone in her purse and dragged her luggage.
A middle-aged woman took Adrienn's ticket at the ship's front. She scanned Adrienn's appearance and seemed satisfied. "First class,"
"Yes." Adrienn said smiling. Her silk shirt blew in the chilling ocean breeze. She was anxious to get on the luxurious ship.
"Can you take Miss Miller's luggage to she ship please?" The woman summoned a worker who was helping load the luggage. The man came over, dressed in the same uniform as everyone who worked on the ship.
"Welcome aboard the Arlina, Miss Miller." He said.

carla looked at the boat "oh it's just how I imagined but...bigger",she said hugging her husband. she went to the boarding station and gave the attindent the tickets"come on",she yelled to her husband


Will walkied up the steps onto the boat "let's take our bags to our rooms", he said walking towards their cabin.

Adrienn looked around her room. A small chandelier hung from the ceiling. She had a king sized bed and several dressers and a closet.
"Oh my goodness," She said in awe. "Maybe this trip won't be so bad after all." She laughed and flopped down on her bed.

Colette shuddered with excitement. The boat was larger than she had expected; she thought that it would be a little bit larger than her family's private yacht. She handed her largest bags to her family, than stepped away from the crowds for a second so she could get a better look.

She loved the room as soon as she saw it. It even had a small chandalier on the ceiling. This is going to be fun, she thought happily.

Adrienn waited to unpack her belongings. She ran onto the deck as the ship pulled away from the crowded dock. She waved to anyone...everyone, although she recognized none of their faces. She laughed to herself.
"They'll never see me again anyways," She smiled. She stepped away from the bars and pushed gently through crowd of people.
"Can I help you, Miss? Can I get you a drink?" A tall man held his hands behind his back, his shoulders properly squared.
"Sure." Adrienn smiled. She twirled her hair playfully. "Can I have a Pina Colada?" She said, pulling out her license when he asked for id.
"Thank you!" She said when someone brought her the drink. "Wow," She said. Several pieces of fruit were cabobed on a stick in the drink. "This is great," She said, sipping it.
