History: Danae's mother became pregnant with Danae after she was raped one night in the tavern that she worked at. Rather than going to a midwife and purchasing the herbs that were necessary to shed the child as some of her family suggested, she decided to keep the baby. After that, she was shunned by most of her family. Unfortunately, she passed away during childbirth. Having no family who would acknowledge her, Danae was sent to the town orphanage. When she was 13, she ran away, and thereafter, she wandered by herself, stealing most of the time and occasionally working odd jobs for the local families to support herself. When she was 17, she was robbing a home while the owners were away. Inside the home, she found a small keepsake box. Upon looking inside, she found the shard. Now it is her most valuable possesion. She keeps it in a pouch at her belt. Preferring the spontaeneous life of a wandering thief, she has not taken a proper job despite being over the proper age to do so.

While exploring the forest that surrounded her village, she found a shard of diamond which she hid in her gown. Shortly afterwards, her village was destroyed by the dark forces. With her new found abilities, she swore to bring those who slew her family and friends to justice.
