short bio: Ray is a descendent of the famous Qel-Droma family and high expectations are therfore placed on him and he has problems to cope with this, he came to the Jedi as a little boy and a bond has grown between him and his master so they know each other well. He was eager to fight in the clone wars because he wanted to protect the republic but was never allowed because of his age. It is his first mission in war and he is eager to prove himself.

Merr-Sonn PLX-2M Portable Missile System
The PLX-2M is used by Republic ARC Troopers. It is an extremely powerful weapon that fires Arakyd 3T3 proton torpedoes. The sheer explosive power of the PLX-2M makes it dangerous to fire blindly in close quarters, but is extremely effective when used as a 'smart' tracking weapon. The PLX-2M has two 'smart' firing modes - the first causes the missile to home in on the magnetic emissions from the repulsorlifts of speeders, and the second causes the torpedo to home in on infrared heat sources, allowing the user to attack landspeeders, airspeeders, and even low-flying spacecraft. Of course, the launcher also has an unguided 'dumb' firing mode for manual aim. In general, it is very powerful against all armored vehicles. Also known as the "big gun" in several comic trilogies. One problem with this issue of "big gun" was that every 4 or so blasts needed a new power pack, because of carrying around so many power packs the shooter was vulnerable to stray blaster fire. Upon impact with the power packs they imploded incinerating the shooter and any nearby squadmates. The PLX-2M is so effective that it was still in use as late as 10 years after the Battle of Endor.


Arc Caster
An Arc Caster (ionization blaster) is a modified version of the E-11 blaster rifle. The arc caster is the primary weapon of Imperial Dark Troopers phase 2 who can be seen in Star Wars: Battlefront II. The weapon uses a charge function to prepare a blast of electricity at the target which, when fully charged, can jump to up to Four targets in total

Zex shouldered his Arc caster in a solid firm motion. Pulling his eye away from the sight he rested the large gun on his shoulder.

Walking up along side Alpha-24 he glanced over all that was taking place.

"You think theres more to this then the Jedi are telling us?" he asked. He had always felt like they were being... kept out o the loop some times.

Phax listened as the advisor gave him instructions through a hologram. "Understood, sir," Phax said, when the advisor finished. He switched off the hologram projector and went to his squad. "Ok, squad, these are our orders," he said to them. "Our mission is to escort the Jedi to their target. We are to engage any hostile that we encounter but no hunts. We stay with the Jedi. Understood?"
Phax's squad chorused their affirmative.
