They had a will. They had free will. They had their preferences, they could make a stand. They could make their own choises. They had lives, they had families.
That was then. This is now.
Now is when the controller has taken them over. They attacked. He defended. Both sides fought. Then, all he cared about passed into nothingness. Everyone one he cared about was dead. And he cursed them for it. He intended to make them suffer for the rest of their lives.
And now they are without will, for they do not belong to themselves. They belong to him. They do his bidding, they say what he wants, and no one can help them.
Their only hope is find escape within themselves. But how?

FURTHER PLOT NOTES: After [s]demands[/s] kind requests (

) I shall make some further explaination.
The controller, as he is known, is a wizard, or sorcerer, who lives 'peacefully' in the heart of Waterwood (forest), practicing dark magic and spells. As he got more and more powerful, many feared what would happen if he attacked. But none of them did anything about it. And so, two years later, he attacked the kingdom of Thrriesa at midnight, on the night of the full moon. This happened annually until six humans and four elves (note the equal amount of male/female[s]) decided that they had had enough. Representing their race, they invaded the home of the controller and his small family, killing everyone - not intentionally, but it was necissary to reach the sorceror himself. But, once they reached him, he was so infuriated that he managed to conjure up all of the power he could muster and cast a powerful curse on them all.
The curse made it so that their lives now depended on his. If he died, they not only died, but died a slow, painful death. It also made it so that he had complete control of their actions. Not their will, mind you, but he could make them do anything, whether they wanted to or not. And so, they have to play protectors to one whom they hate, and have to fulfil his will. And since no one but him can lift the curse, they have to find out how to escape their living hell themselves - and live.
