Post subject:  Pride and Prejudice-PLEASE JOIN! :-D
A small and VERY poor family lives in a small town. The family consists of five daughters-Lydia, Elizabeth (Lizzy), Jane, Mary, and Kitty Bennet. The family goes to a ball, where Mr. Bingley and his best friend Mr. Darcy will attend. Mr. Bingley finds Jane extremely beautiful and dances with her part of the night, staring at her the rest. Lizzy asks Mr. Darcy to dance and he replies: "Not if I can help it." He does not want to dance, obviously. Later on that night, while Elizabeth and her friend Charlotte are listening to Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy talk, they discover Mr. Bingley is attracted to Jane, and that she is beautiful. He says that Lizzy is agreeable and Mr. Darcy says she is "barely tolerable." Later on, Mr. Darcy believes that poetry is the sign of love, but Lizzy disagrees. So he asks her what she believes and Lizzy says: "Dancing, even if one's partner is barely tolerable." Then she walks off, leaving her burn on Mr. Darcy.

"Mother! How could you be so crucial? I'll marry when the time is right! Besides, Father still has years on hand, if I am correct." Elizabeth said. She was tired of her mother trying to get her to marry. "Mother, I hear a ball is coming in town. Are we attending? I hear Mr. Bingsley will be there, and he makes quite an amount of money."

Elizabeth smiled, though it wasn't very satisfactory. She walked outside and looked into the sky. I wonder what Mr. Bingley is like...or his friend...Mr. Darcy.

Mary glances up from her book, thinking that she would rather see Mr. Collins than some stuck up rich man.


(note: my mother and I think that mary liked mr collins and was heartbroken when he proposed to someone else.)

^Sure

Elizabeth wasn't to excited but just a little when the day of the ball arrived. She found a dress for her to wear, but it was nothing fancy.
