Essex Riding Academy is a boarding school for girls in grades 7-12. It's located in Los Angeles, California. Essex is a prestigious, potentially bound for wealthy girls with snotty attitudes and million dollar ponies. But other girls know better, and their intentions at Essex are none other than riding, friends, and education. The teachers are strict, the English riding lessons are tough, but the girls find easy ways of subtle rebellion, and lots of fun.

This is a Hunter/Jumper and Dressage type of academy. Lesson horses are available. Please have one character. You are limited to owning one horse. Please do take advantage of the lesson horses.

Sure. So it's a boarding school for Equestrians. It's based on Hunter/Jumper and Dressage disciplines, so totally english. It's in LA. It's for girls only.. Let me know if there's anything else you didn't understand. Sorry if I was confusing!

Shelby Lindsay looked around the entrance to the lobby. Several teachers were scattered, welcoming the students.
"Hi Miss Richards." Shelby smiled at the familiar face of her English teacher. And he head of her dorm, Russell.
"I'll be looking forward to seeing you this year, Shelby. Oh. And follow me, you have new dorm room arrangements for Russell."
"Really?" Shelby looked surprised. She dragged her luggage past the other students and parents.
"Here you are. You are with Brooke Madison and a new student. Her name is Sydney Wilson. Please make her feel welcome. She should be up in the dorm room now."
"Yes, Miss Richards. Thank you."
