Beginning Scene... for now: Random fantasy world. A tavern. On the corner of some dark, narrow alleyway. Oh, and throw in some thugs, mercenaries, and one scowling bartender. Sound familiar? Disregard the originality or lack thereof, please, because the scene's about to change very quickly.
Your character has been summoned to the tavern by a missive he/she found in his/her pocket this morning.
