((Ok, I will start now.)) Anika walked up the steps to her Grandfathers temple. A suitcase in one hand, and her daughter in her other arm. It had been a while since She had seen her cousin Kagome, and was looking forward to it. |

Kagome was up in her room sutdying, or at least trying to when she heard her mother call her. "Comming!" She said putting down her books. "Anika! You're here!" She said greeting her cousin. "It's been a long time..." She stopped seeing the baby girl in her cousins arms. |

Anika smiled. "Hey Kagome. I want you to meet my daughter, Shinu." She looked down at the little ir that was looking at Kagome shyly through her silver bangs, with golden eyes. |

"She's beautiful ... Hi there little one." She held her hands out to see if the youngster would come to her. |

Shinu looked at Kagomes arms, then at Anika. "Its ok Shinu." Anika said smileing. Shinu looked at Kagome and reached her arms out. |

Kagome carefully took Shinu fome Anika. "There now." She lead Anika to the kitchen where her moom was just finishing up dinner. "How long are you going to stay?" She asked settleing herself at the table. |

Anika shrugged. "I don't know. Dad said ther was a lot of work that needed to be redone." She said. Suddenly she heard a growl and an anry voice entering the house. "KAGOME!!!" |

Kagome jumped slightly and looked over at the kitchen door. "What?" She asked slighly irriatated at the interuption. |

Inuyasha stormed in, not even noticing Anika and Shinu. "Kagome, what is going on. The others are waiting for you, you have things to do. I come to get you and here you are, sitting around!" Anika couldn't help but stare at Inuyasha. His hair and eyes reminded her so much of him. "Could he?" She wondered, but before she could ask she heard Shinu wimpering into Kagomes chest. |

Kagome looked down at the small child wimpering in her lap. "Now look what you've done..." She said as she smoothed Shinu's hair back. "Shh ... There there now." She looked over at Anika in apology. "We were just fixing to have dinner, why don't you eat with us." She said as she looked back upat Inuyasha. |

"Keh." Inuyasha snorted and sat. And it wasn't long until he felt a tug on his ears. He was about to yell when he blinked, looking at Shinu. He was speechless. Anika smiled as she saw her daughter wiggle free of Kagome and take hold of the strange person dog like ears. |

Kagome smiled. She could n't help but remember haveing done nearly the same thing when shse first saw him pinned to the tree of ages with Kikyo's sacred arow. Her attention was brought back to the present when her mother set the food on the table. She turned and picked Shinu up. "Time to eat little one. Why don't you go sit with your mother?" She pointed the little girl in the right direction and watched her toddle off. |

Anika smiled at her aunt and took Shinu into her arms. "Thanks. Ready to eat Shinu, your Great Aunt is a good cook." Inuyasha looked at Anika and Shinu and asked. "Kagome, who are these people?" He half growled. |

"That is my cousin Anika and her daughter Shinu." She paoued for a moment . "Anika, This is Inuyasha. I'm sorry about not introducing you two earlier. I guess I got used to everyone already knowing him." She smiled sheepishly and picked up her bowl. |

Inuyasha nodded and watched Shinu eat. Anika smiled at Kagome. "Its ok." She continued to feed her daughter who appeared really hungrey. "Some one has an appitite like their father." |

Kagome quickly finished her diner and excused herself. She went and got her pack, plus the lunches she had prepaired earlier. "Alright ... I'm ready when you are InuYasha." |
