It was a sad time for all in Laceddy. The king was dead and his son crowned king. Instead of the changing of an era, it turned out to almost be the end of a race. The Merta had lived in Laceddy since the beginning of time. When the Tranners had moved into the land the Merta welcomed them with open arms. Though for all their kindness the prince, Corban, could not be persuade to like his new neighbors. No one knows why they angered him and will probably never know. When he was crowned king, Corban shocked the kingdom by coming out and accusing the Merta of murdering his father. He declared that if the Merta did not turn over the persons responsible then he would declare war on the Merta race, and they would all die. The Merta never gave up their claimed of innocents and never gave into the new king’s demands. True to his word, two weeks after the Merta’s week expired they were a thing of the past. Only six children survived the massacre. Their parent’s, sensing danger, had manage to sneak them out just in time. For twenty years the three boy and three girls had managed to live undetected in the forest. Learning the necessary skills to survive until they saw the opportunity to set things right and get to the truth.
Ok, so this RP is about the six Merta and them trying to find out what actually happened. I need three Merta men and two more female Merta. This is a medieval/fantasy RP so let your imaginations run wild. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. Ok, I guess I'll post my bio now and let the games begin!

Thank you Revenge!
Sure Eruraina. I'll post some background on them. If there is something else you want to know just ask me, and I'll be glad to tell you.
Merta
The Merta race has lived in Laceddy since the beginning of time. They were a simple farming and hunting culture. They were skilled fighters, but over the years of peace training went to the back of everyone's mind causing the army to become weak. When the Tranners moved into Laceddy the Merta welcomed them as new neighbor. For two-hundred years they lived in peaceful coexistence. Then then the young Prince Corban became king. He accused the Merta of assassinating the king. After the Merta refused to claim the guilt, King Corban sent his amry against the Merta. Because of the weakened state of the Merta army, they were quickly over powered and destroyed.
Tranners
The Tranner race moved into the land of Laceddy after a famine struck their home land of Amber. They arrived in Laceddy with only 1/4 of their people still living. When the Merta offered their help the Tanners welcomed it with open arms. Slowly they began to grow into a strong nation again with emphasis on farming and fighting. After two-hundred they were an armed force to be reckoned with.
When the kind died his son, Prince Corban, became the new king. He viewed the Merta as lowly peasants and it ached his pride to think that his country ode them their gratitude for saving their lives. He feared that one day the Merta would lord that fact over him and his people. With the death of his father, Corban saw his opportunity to get rid of the Merta forever. He accused the Merta of killing his father and gave them a week to admit their guilt. When the Merta never left the stance that they were innocent, he sent his army and wiped them out. The people dearly loved their old king and were over joyed to think that their new king, Kind Corban, had wiped out his assassins. No one ever questioned, even twenty years after the fact, whether the Merta had actually be innocent or not.

So... They're a kind of human race? Can they use magic and that sort of stuff?

Yes, they are human. The Merta can use magic to mess with peoples head. Such as making people see things differently then they are, turn things invisible, persuade people, ect. The Tranners never tried to learn magic. They trust in the strength of their army to help them.

Ok Eruraina. And it's good to have you and Nymphadora Tonks along. I guess we'll start once we get the last male Merta. And just to add for anyone I guess, you don't have to play a Merta. If someone wants to they can play a Tranner.
