Gonna reboot this as more interest was shown in it, but making it all Jumper.


Basis:
The world is changing. Children are being born with strange abilities, the Jumpers. People who can teleport anywhere on the planet just by thinking of it. There is an organisation who have been fighting against the Jumpers for several centuries. The Paladin have strong convictions that they are doing things for the greater good and that the anomalies of nature must be eliminated.
It's a matter of survival and instinct.

Name: Alexis Dupree (Known as Alex)
Age: 19
Jumper/Human/Paladin: Jumper

Personality: Sarcastic, dark humour. Distrustful of people, keeps anyone she meets at arms length.
History: Borne of a wealthy Canadian family, she could have had anything she wanted. After being chastised by her mother, she experienced her first Jump and ended up in the garden at the back of her parents house. Terrified, Alex returned to her parents distraught but said nothing of her experience. A year or two passed and no other occurances manifested. So it was all put in the past, until one day she returned home with the family Au Pair, Selene. Her parents, brutally murdered. Selene took Alex away to safety and raised her as her own daughter. It wasn't till Alex turned 17 that her powers remanifested. Selene too, was murdered causing Alex to go into hiding.
Misc: Through her travels Alex has picked up a few skills like self defense and pick pocketing.

Appearance: Roy has messy brown hair, and green eyes with grey flecks, a side affect of his ability as a Jumper. He has a muscled build from work on a farm, and has a scar across his arm from a barbed wire fence that broke and ripped his arm as it flung out.
Personality: Roy is a generally friendly man, but is suspicious of many, due to a betrayal within his family. He has a strict moral code and will help others whenever he can, but he is utterly merciless against Paladins and thier allies.
History: Born to a moderatley well off farming family in Vankleek Hill, Canada, Roy made his life as a normal boy until age 13. That year, a group of heifers burst loose, and desperate to catch them, he made his first jump. Supressing his ability, he lived in fear of his ability becoming wide known. However, when Roy was 20, his uncle visited, and sensing his ability, revealed himself as a Paladin and attempted to kill Roy. The encounter ended when Roy's father Jacob shot his brother in the back, and sent Roy away for his protection. For the last 6 years, Roy has honed his ability and fighting skills to combat the Paladins, never forgetting his uncle's betrayal.
Misc: Roy is a skilled fighter, due to years of training and hunting as a boy. He is a match for almost any Paladin, and wields a knife, pistol, and, in heavy combat, a .30-.30 Winchester. He is also a skilled outdoorsman, due to long hunting rips in the Ontario wilderness.

Name: Jack Smithson
Age: 23
Jumper/Human/Paladin: Jumper
Appearance: Jack has ragged brown hair with bright blue eyes. He's very skinny with a slight hint of muscles. His body has several scars from his clashes with Paladins.
Personality: He's very cynical and never fails to dip his tongue with venom. He also has trouble adjusting with people, since he lived by himself for the majority of life. When he's not hunting, he indulges in a hedonistic life.
History: Born in a poor Manchester family, his parents, nevertheless, tried to give Jack the life a little boy needed. However that perfect little life was cut short by the Paladins who found out Jack was a Jumper when he was 8. Instead of directly killing the boy, they killed his parents, in an effort to trap Jack. However Jack fought his way through that trap, killing the two Paladins. His lust for vengeance, however, was not satisfied because he knew they'll always be hunting him.

So he trained himself to become the ultimate hunter, turning the tables on the Paladins. He studied French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, and Russian throughout his life, helping him blend in with the local people. At the age of 16, he joined various terrorist groups, in an effort to learn how to fight. At 20, he began to live by himself, establishing several lairs in various countries.
Misc: He "own" several lairs, stocked with weaponry, computers, and vehicles.

*swoops in* Okay, I'll only be here until Friday, but while I'm out of state I'll try to steal my brother's laptop to check up on things and reply when I can.

Name: Lacey Giorgi
Age: 18
Jumper/Human/Paladin: Jumper[because I don't feel like being unique right now =P]
Appearance: Shoulder-length straight black hair, petite, olive-skinned. Basically Italian.
Personality: She's a quiet type, but when she does speak it's generally to rattle of random facts. When she gets angry, it comes across as cool indifference but she's probably plotting the other person's death in her head.
History: Her first jump was when she was ten, a small one from the livingroom to the kitchen to get breakfast, in front of her parents. Unable to kill her for the mutation but not wanting to keep her, they brought her to an orphanage and told her to wait on the front step and not talk to anyone. She spent two years at the orphanage where everyone thought she was a mute before running away to live on her own, jumping into libraries at night to read anything and everything she could. She travels alone, avoiding people when she can and only speaking a minimum amount when she does. Had only one close encounter with the Paladin when she was fifteen and they tried to trap her in the New York Public Library.
Misc: Currently half-lives in a lair somewhere in Europe filled with stolen books and college research papers.

Jack opened his eyes as the sunlight dimly entered through the window in the hotel. He rose from his bed and lazily looked around his surroundings. More or less, exactly how he arrived in it. At his side was a girl that he had got familiar with, still sleeping. He quickly got dressed, pulling a cool black jumper over him and a pair of dark jeans on. Finally he slipped into his leather jacket. He dug into his jacket pocket and fished out a hundred euro to help the girl pay for the hotel. He then grabbed his bag that had been laying against the bed and Jumped out of the hotel.

He landed in Gracia, away from Barceloneta. After looking around him and making sure no one saw him appear, he walked on, hoping that a Paladin or two had noticed him. They probably had at least one stationed in Barcelona or somewhere near the city. Of course he did look a bit out of place with the dark clothing in a rather warm city. But it was passable. He glanced a look behind him and saw a suspicious man wearing dark clothing with a visible earpiece. Jack smiled and led him through the streets that he was so familiar with.

The path that Jack walked through was, to say the least, very confusing. He would appear to go into one street, only to abruptly turn and take another one. Several times, he lost himself in the crowds of the people walking to work, only to emerge out from it. By now, Jack was sure that the Paladin was extremely impatient. Finally, Jack turned into an alleyway and hid behind a door frame, waiting for him to show up. How foolish of him, he thought. He came alone. The Paladin looked around the alleyway and obviously surmised that the only person in it was the Jumper, because he then pulled out his gun. At the same time, Jack pulled out a dagger and tightened his grip on it.
