<center>The Pendragon</center> Plot: 500 AD, the Romans left the lands of Britannia in chaos. The Kingdom of Dumnonia is left kingless after the old High king Uther died. His only grandson, Mordred, is only a crippled baby, unfit to lead a country. The other kingdoms, Siluria and Powys covet for the throne of Dumnonia and the Saxons are attacking the lands from the North and East. One man arises with the wish to unite Britannia against its enemies: Arthur, the banished bastar d son of Uther. Together with Lancelot, the prince from Armorica, and his men he has come from France to aid Dumnonia. After a lot of effort Arthur seemed to have reached a pact to unite the kingdoms and as to seal it, he was to marry Ceinwyn, princess of Powys. But alas, on the night of Arthur’s wedding he beheld Guinnevere and he was enchanted. He left Ceinwyn to marry Guinevere in secret, destroying any hope of allegiance and plunging Britain back into civil war. Now married with the beautiful Guinevere, Arthur has the mission to restore the union of the kingdoms in Britannica to fight the Saxons and safeguard the throne until Mordred is old enough to rule. He receives help from Merlin, a wise druid who wishes to restore the Old Religion in Britain and his loyal companions.. but will he be able to make up for his mistakes now he has more enemies than ever? This is a RPG based on the Warlord Chronicles of Bernard Cornwell. The plot above seems perhaps detailed but it’s just a kind of introduction. If anyone would like to read more about the books and the storyline: you can find info on wiki (search for the Winterking) Although Lancelot and Guinevere are both described as not to possess very likeable personalities (Lancelots is arogant and Guinevere has a certain hunger for power) I think it’s up to the player to decide what to make of the characters We start off in the Kingdom of Dumnonia when Arthur has just been married. The kings of Powys and Siluria are about to attack Dumnonia.. Oooh ohhh can I have Merlin please?? I've not read the book, but I am rather fond of the Arthurian myths and legends. I'll definetly look into the Wiki link to get a better feel of the world Cromwell wrote about.

You are all added. Lady Raelyn, I was actually playing Guinevere, but if you like her than I don't mind playig Arthur as well Once again, I don't think it matters that you didn't read the book. Name:Cadfan ap Dilwyn Age:27 Physical Description:Cadfan has wavy brown hair to his shoulders, though it is marked by a long scar over his scalp from a narrow miss of a Saxon arrow. He has a few grey flecks, but they are not that noticeable. Cadfan has a slightly crooked nose, broken recently in a brawl caused by bravado and love of ale. He has blue eyes, a remnant from his half-Saxon mother, and a scar on his cheek from charging a shield wall of Kernow raider in the battle rage. As a member of King Cadwy's people, he has woad tattoos on his forearms and the backs of his hands. He has a plaited beard, and weard many warrior rings on both his hands and beard, as well as having bracers forged from the steel of victim's blades. Personality:Cadfan is a rather laid back man for his occupation of mercenary, but he has a strong sense of duty to both his tribe and the High King. He has a slightly morbid view of battle, and collects trophies from his dead enemies, ranging from torques to scalps. When he is between jobs, he typically spends what he can at the nearest inn, and leaves unable to walk straight. He is not literate, but his common sense(when sober) make up for his lack of a learned backround. Weapons:Cadfan carries a short celtic sword, forged of steel on hip. He wears a blue-painted oval shield, a mark of his service for King Tewdric as a mercenary, but it is marked with his personal insignia: a badger. He carries a battle spear in combat, but otherwise is content with a light javelin. He wears a steel helmet taken from a Saxon victim, and has crested it with the blonde hair of a minor Saxon chief he killed. History:Born to a tribesman of Isca and a half-Saxon slave, Cadfan was raised as many of his brethren were: illegitemate children with nothing but the clothes on thier backs. Cadfan was always a fighter, and when he was a boy he often scrapped with his brothers for little reason. When he grew to adulthood, he trained as a warrior, learning how to fight as a geurilla and as a soldier in a shield wall. When Cadfan first tasted battle, it was against Kernow raiders. There, several miles west of Isca, he killed 5 men in an ambush, striking from the rear. For several years, he fought the raiders, until the battles died off. Bored in Isca, he gathered his gear and left, selling his services as a soldier to the highest bidder. Alternately, he has fought the Saxons, Dalraidans, Franks, and Blackshield Irish, whom he took particular relish in fighting. After serving in Clothia, Cadfan headed south again, stung at being cheated of his pay by an unscrupulous captian who he had accosted the night before, earning him exile. When he arrived back to the the southern lands, he served both Powys and Gwent for several years, though Silurian combat was to his distaste. When he heard news of Dumnonia's peril, Cadfan enlisted in the army as a citizen and fought savagely with Prince Mordred, until Arthur's troops arrived. Wounded, Cadfan returned home to find tat hi mother had died of fever and his father was in Kernow. He lived a simple life in semi-retirement, but when news of the birth of Mordred's son came, Cadfan left Isca and hurried to Caer Cardan, where he heard news Gundleus' attack. Amongst the rescue party, Cadfan sensed the war at hand, and sharpened his blades.

Name:Rosalisa Fa Lagartha Gender: Female Race: human Siblings: none Parents: none Age: 25 Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: Blue-green Appearance: Her dark brown hair stops just below her chin, she's got a small heart shape scar on her Abdomen, just a couple centimeters abover her waist. She really wants to become a Lady Knight but her family refuses to let her try and become one. Personality: Bubbly, quite bold and shy. She's more bold than shy. Rose is also kind, and very gentle. History: She was born to a noble Father and a Peasant Mother. She was brought up in her father's house because they both wanted her to have an excellent life. Her parents eventually died when she was 20. When Rose heard of the war in Dummonia she went to go investigate and help out in anyway she could possible can.
