Oh yes...another X-Men RP :P

This one is based around new and young characters. Gives more freedom if there OC's.

Basic Plot:
The death of Jean Grey left a huge dark cloud over the Xavier Institute. Cyclops has went to his parents old house in Alaska to grieve on his own terms. Storm is the joint Headmistress with newcomer Emma Frost aka the X-Men's former adversary the White Queen. This appointment was at the behest of the recovering Professor Charles Xavier at Muir Island.

His other request was to find new mutants to enrol in the school and to later on perhaps become X-Men.

Eventually a crisis when the X-Men are on mission will require the students to defend the Institute.

Other Info:
All characters should be between the ages of 13 and 18.
All mutants should have one major mutation only.
Characters like Storm, Emma Frost ect can be played by everyone.

No God Modding unless asked to do so by another RPer

No power duplication amongst OC's. Having the same power as another Marvel or X-Men character is fine though.

Might as well get this thing rolling and hope other people sign up.

Name: Alannah Taylor, also likes to be called Alli
Codename:(Optional) Sol
Age: 17 (almost 18)

Mutation: The ability to generate and manipulate microwave energy. Which gives Alannah the ability to generate intense heat and flames and also to fly.
Personality: Alannah is a loner, but not entirely unfriendly. But can lose her temper quickly, but tries to keep it in check as it could result in her developing powers overheating herself or others.
History: Alannah discovered her powers when she was 15. She got into a fight with the school bully and after so much torment she began to intensify the air into a stifling hot area. Her hands became red and almost glowed with the heat she was generating. Subsequently Alannah was expelled from school for troublemaking. She has spent the rest of the time learning at her Aunts house. The offer to join the Xavier Institute was taken with much reluctance, but realised it was the best and safest place for her to be.
Other need to know facts: Alannah needs to wear glasses to read.

OK so here be my bio:

Name: Ronja - last name unknown
Codename: Moontide
Age: 17
Appearance: Hip-long raven-black hair, winter-blue eyes. Very petite; 5'0", slender, pale skin

Mutation: Blessed with the powers of the moon she can control all sources of water and its levels. She can rise it up to any height in a split second as well as make water move and flow in which direction she wants - even entire oceans. She can even generate water. When she uses her powers her whole body glows in a white ethereal light, much like the moon itself.
Personality: Seen as shy by some and just plain odd by others, she is definitely not the most talkative pea in the pod. She is a feisty one though and can be tough when the situation calls for it.
History: She has no idea who her parents were as she grew up in various children's homes and foster care, most of them far from good. She managed to run away when she was 13 and has been on her own ever since, living mostly in a forest to avoid a run-in with the authorities. She accidentally discovered her powers of being able to move and control water when she fell into a deep murky forest lake one night while climbing a tall overhanging tree. She was struggling to get to the surface but soon realized she was able to force the water back and hold it down. She was discovered by one of the X-Men one night when she was trying to figure out her new-found powers on a pond in an empty and abandoned park in the town near her forest.
Other need to know facts: She walks around barefoot most of the time.

Name: Bella Seacomb
Codename: Madusa
Age: 17
Appearance: Thick golden - blond hair that reaches the ground. About 5"9, petit. Blue eyes
Mutation: Prehensile/animated hair. Her hair will grow to about ten ft on average if needed in the space of a few seconds, she can move it in any way and in any direction and form she can think of. It becomes razor sharp when needed and she can use it to pick up large heavey objects or as a rope. She can also use her hair to pick locks.
Personality: *to come*
History: Bella was expelled from her school at 14 after nearly strangeling another girl in a fight with her hair. She joined the Xavier institue soon after.
Other need to know facts: She is dyslexic and suffers from a fear of the dark.

Personality: Calm, friendly, and funny (at least, he tries to be). Not easily stressed, and has a hard time standing up for himself.
History: Dom discovered his power when he was on a walk by himself, around age 13. He managed to keep it relatively hidden, until he was asked to join the Xavier academy.

Name: Felicity Moss
Codename: Ersatz
Age: 18
Appearance: Red hair (it's more the color of a carrot, but don't tell her that), blue eyes, freckles, normal height.
Mutation: Mimicry/absorbance (she is able to mimic a power and retain it for a certain period of time, unlike Rogue her power does not suck energy and relies more on seeing the power in action than taking its energy from the other person's body)
Personality: Very organized, stresses easily, somewhat of a killjoy at times, but she cares for her friends and only wants the best for them.
History: She found out about her power at a young age, and since she has been honing them so that she can retain the powers for longer periods of time. (more later in the rp)
