(This is an idea I had... it's a bit in-depth but I think it may be fun. I'll keep track of all the complicated stuff for everyone so all you need to do is post. It's a bit like a standard computer game. On your missions and quests you post in typical RPG style what you do and I will act as the "computer" and tell you whether more bad guy come, whether the door you are tryign to go through is locked, or whether what you are looking for is in the room you are in etc...) Star-Fire Mercenaries Welcome to the Star-Fire Mercenary page! Here you can join our military and take on many different adventures! All those who join our militia will have the chance to earn popularity points (which will earn them extra credits) and prestige points. (Which will go towards “buying” their next military rank) Popularity points will be "bought" by trading in prestige points earned for completion of missions. (Popularity points sold at Star-Fire store) For every Popularity point you will earn 5 more Credits per mission! These points will be awarded for successful completion of a mission or quest, whether it be a solo mission/quest, or a group. Group missions/quests will have higher individual rewards than solo missions/quests but will be more difficult. A mission will be a simple and short assignment, while a quest may take you a much longer amount of time. A quest, however, also has the possibility to earn you special items to add to you Star-Fire Mercenary character. Ever member of the Star-Fire militia will be listed on the front page along with their rank, popularity points, prestige points, and credits. (don’t worry I will keep track of all these for you as you earn and spend them) A Star-Fire Mercenary store will also be set up where you can use your earned Credits to purchase better items for accomplishing your missions and/or quests. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to make it in the Star-Fire Mercenary camp… sign up and start your adventures! RANKS: Youngling=0 prestige points Padawan=10 prestige points Apprentice=20 prestige points Journeyman=50 prestige points Charger=100 prestige points Marauder=200 prestige points Knight= 500 prestige points Master=1,200 prestige points Prestige points can also be spent to "hire" companions to help you on your missions. These companions will require a set amount of prestige points as payment for each mission they accompany you on. Earning Prestige points and Credits. Youngling Missions= 3 prestige points and 10 Credits Youngling Quests= 5 prestige points and 15 Credits Padawan Missions= 6 prestige points and 15 Credits Padawan Quests= 10 prestige points and 25 Credits Apprentice Missions= 12 prestige points and 25 Credits Apprentice Quests= 15 prestige points and 40 Credits Journeyman Missions= 24 Prestige points and 40 Credits Journeyman Quests= 30 Prestige points and 85 Credits Charger Missions= 35 Prestige points and 85 Credits Charger Quests=45 prestige points and 120 Credits Marauder Missions= 60 Prestige points and 140 Credits Marauder Quests=85 Prestige Points and 300 Credits Knight Missions=120 Prestige points and 400 Credits Knight Quests=170 Prestige points and 700 Credits Master Missions=220 Prestige points and 1,000 Credits Master Quests= 300 Prestige Points and 2,500 Credits _____________________________________________________________ Star-Fire Members: Turwaithion Rank:Youngling Prestige points: 0 Popularity:0 Credits: 0 Items: Staff ----------------- Eruraina Rank: Youngling Prestige Points: 0 Popularity: 0 Credits: 0 Items: Staff --------------------- The~Doctor Rank: Youngling Prestige Points: 0 Popularity::0 Credits: 0 Items: Blaster Click HERE to visit our shop! |

Ok. ![]() Basically you can request missions or quests (as said above) and earn points towards rewards etc... *shrugs* I have a "star-Fire store" set up in the misc. Randomness thread, I'll get the link and add your character to the main page. I gave you a blaster to start out with, but if you would rather be hand-to-hand combat you can trade it in for a staff. |

I'll take the staff, please, and a Quest. Oh, and you may want to check out my RP, War of the Angedain, here in Sharky's End. It's a LOTR/SW crossover. |

Alrighty, lets give this a try. ![]() I'll give you a choice of two quests. Quest: Travel to the planet of Yinchorr. (Shuttle tickets to the Planet included) Yinchorr is an ancient and remote world strewn with ruins from the species that used to live there, before they were slain. After their demise, the Empire used the now-harsh and desolate planet as a training center for the Imperial Guards. Once arriving on the planet your job will be to search the vast an numerouse ruins for an ancient Force-driven power source that is said to enable the user to "become one with the force" without the awkward "dying" part. Be carefull, the planet may still have Remnants of the Empire as well as dangerouse wild-life. QUEST: Ancient history tells of a time when Koriban was a thriving matropolis with wilde-life and jungles and gardens of great wonder. Those times, however, are all but lost... unless yo can bring them back. Even more lore tells of a gift, given to those who find the "scepter of Ragnose." This gift is said to be able to bring back such thriving climates to (at least) part of the planet. This scepter... however, is not what you may think. The scepter of the sith lord Ragnose was destroyed by Jedi Knight Jaden Kor and proved not to have such powers. Rather, scholars are inclined to believe that the word "Scepter" refers to direct descendants of the sith Lord himself. Oters are unsure. Your quest, should you accept, would be to find this "scepter..." whatever it may be. All shuttle tickets and expenses covered on missions and quests. (regarding fod, lodging etc..) |

((shall I make a charrie name?)) I heard the shuttle seal behind me, and spun my staff idly in one hand. Off to Korriban. I sat on one of the benches, and tossed my staff on the other, stretching out to my full legnth. A bit of rest would do me good. |

(If you want to. Or you can just use your forum name. Either works) A large Aqualish takes a seat beside you as the shuttle begins to lift off. The trip to Koriban will be a lengthy one and there are few people heading that direction. Asside from the aqualish there is only a twilek man and a suspicious looking Rodian woman. |

Hm... is this based in the Star Wars world? To me it seems like it is, though I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan, but this looks like a really intruiging a interesting idea. You can count me in! -If I can join I'll trade blaster for a staff, lol! |

Ok! Can I shoose to go on the mission Tur didn't go on? The one to Yinchorr? And out of curiosity... where'd you get the idea? |
Author: | Jax Nova [ March 5th, 2009, 1:24 pm ] |
Post subject: | |
Sure. The one toYinchorr is actually a quest wich will give higher rewards but also take longe than a mission. So if you want it that's perfectly fine, but f you'd rather do a shorter mision then I'll get one up for you, no problem either way. Well.. I kind of just thunk up the idea one day and thought I might as well give it a try. *shrugs* |

ok! I think I'll just stick with my forum name for this ~~~~~~ She stepped into the shuttle, her staff strapped to her back which she had to adjust slightly so she could sit comfortably in the seat closest to the door. A few times she wipped orange locks out of her eyes, a habbit she did when nervouse. She had reason to be nervouse, it was her first quest. But long days of training kept her mind clear and calm and ready for what lay ahead. So Eruraina sat patiently, waiting to get moving on to Yinchorr... |
