Some time ago Nuariel posted that she wanted to see more fantasy RP's like we used to. Well - here we go. Setting: England - but with one diffrence. Magic is real, and more importantly Fairies are real. Faires, or Fayn as they call themselvs collectively are a diffrent specias of humans - evolved in a diffrent direction and faster rate. They don't have wings, they arn't 3 inches high, and they don't decorate Christmas tree's or collect teeth. The Fayn look like normal humans - except that they are taller, have long flowing hair and white eyes - and live for almost double a humans life span. They live in hideing in great caverns beneath the earth, which is kept magically in a pepetual summer, they go about thier buissness unbenowst to humans. But there are two sorts of Fayn - the Seelie and Unseelie courts. The Seelie are generally the 'good' faires. Easy to offend, and able to hold a grudge for pretty much forever - they still wish no harm generally to mankind, and have been known to help them on variouse occasions. The Unseelie is the dark court. Nothing pleases them more than to hurt humans - seeing them as the upsurpers of the Fayn's rightful place on Earth. Most of the time one of the Seelie stops them, but the rest of the time they cause havoc and if offended will stalk one particular human makeing thier life a liveing hell and trying thier best to kill them. Connected to and yet apart from these are the Changelings. Able to slip between thier human and Fayn apperances, these are Fayn from either court who replaced a dieing human child at birth - the human child either being taken to live with the Seelie or being left out to die by the Unseelie. Iron is poisonouse to all Fayn, but if a Fayn child is bought up in the human world they become imune though thier mothers milk. The downside to this is that can't do nearly as much magic as thier Pure brother and sisters. But now the Unseelie court, both Changeling and Pure have finally united, and are ready to finally destory the humans once and for all. The Seelie though some are sympathetic, do not belive that this is the answer. And so a war begins, one between Seelie and Unseelie, Dark and Light - and the humans caught in the middle. What we need: Humans who know about the Fayn, humans who don't, Changelings of both sides and Fayn of both sides.

Name: Rose Power/ Gilledubh Age: 22 Species: Changeling Affiliation: Seelie Apperance: Bobbed blonde hair, green eyes, pale, 5"6, slim. Wares waitcoats, jeans, and lacy tops/ Golden hair to feet, braided with gold. White eyes, pale, 6"9, slim, wares light blue medival style dress. Charecter: An almost split persoanlity, insane and bubbely, and then in a split second; cool and collected. It dosen't matter wheather she is in human or fayn form to influence this. Background: The real Rose Power suffured from a heart condition and would have died within a few weeks of birth. Instead the human child went on to live to the age of ten with her new fairy family. Her changeling replacement grew up to all apperances as a normal human child - though one with a strange aversion to iron, and a love of music. Visiting her Fayn family at regular intervals she leart how to use her magic and devoted much of this to createing beutiful music to bring happiness to the hearts of the listener. Name: Arran Fuath Age: 26 Species: Fayn Affiliation: Unseelie Apperance: Long black hair to his waist tied with silver threads. White slanting eyes. Pale. Wares dark green robes beneath brown leather armour. 7"6 Charecter: Zealous in his blind hate of humans, he is still a good freind to those he likes, and can be depended upon in any tight situation. Background:Bought up to hate humans with a passion he wishes for nothing more than to see them destroyed and his own people ruleing the Earth as they were meant to. He goes to the surface more often than many others of his race, though he keeps to the countryside and lochs, where there is less chance of comeing into contact with cold iron but still enough chance of finding a human to meddel with. He spends most of his free time practiseing sword play and offensive magic. |
