Deep in the sleepy town of Storybrooke, Maine, something has awoken, and once this power is unleashed, it cannot be stopped. A stranger has come to Storybrooke, and with her the power to do the unthinkable: change the town forever, and break the curse. This is a tale of two worlds: One set in the world that we know, full of heartbreak and uncertainty and no guarantee of a happily ever after; the other in the world that to some, only exists on the pages of storybooks. For the Evil Queen has placed the most terrible curse imaginable on such beloved 'characters' as Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, and Cinderella: to live out their lives in our world, unable to recall their lives in the other. Only Emma, the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, has a chance at breaking the spell.
Storybrooke is a place where anything can happen, and often does, and the parallels between our world and the fairy-tale world are endless. So stroll on through the town's main square and see what happens. Just remember to avoid the woods...and that some things are stranger than fiction.

This RPG will follow the continuity of the first part of the first season of Once Upon a Time--meaning, you should have knowledge of the show up until the point where they took a break for Christmas.
After that, it may branch off from the show's plotline a bit as we create our own!--------------------------

Personality: Merry has a tendency to be stubborn and extremely reckless, rarely stopping to think before she acts. She can be a bit of a teenage rebel at times, much to her father's chagrin, and although she is a good student, she takes very little interest in school. She loves nature, though, and loves to take long walks in the woods surrounding Storybrooke and on the rocky shoreline on the edge of the town. She is a bit of a loner, and feels like her best friend Elijah (who is much more timid than she) is the only one that truly understands her. Meredith has professed a desire to be a singer since she was young, but it is simply not meant to be, as she is completely tone-deaf.
History: Meredith's father blames her attitude on the fact that Meredith's mother left the family so long ago that Merry hardly remembers her at all. He is constantly trying to 'reform' Meredith and get her to act more conventionally, which she resents.
