Grandes blinked in the half of the move.

"A job? Such lass as you has job for me?" he was at first surprised but then he burts out laughing.

"I don't see anything funny in my statement. You said you are an old sailor. I need them on my ship. You will have money for rum for the rest of your life. Of course if they don't kill you..."

Grandes looked as he got sober in one second. He moved closer to Joana and whispered:

"You are here from the orders of...THE captain?"

"No. I am the captain" Joana said with a smile and patted him on the cheek. "So, now you don't want to destroy this tavern to pieces anymore?"

Raina smiled. She caught herself thinking about what it would be like to sail. "Do you have another opening?" she queried.

"Do you want to sail with me?" Joana asked with a smile and coming closer to thes trange elf near Raina and bar-maid herself, she took Grandes, now calm and rather sober.

"Yes." Raina answered. "Between you and me, I hate this job." She let the mop clatter to the ground.

"You seem to be a tough girl. What you can do on the ship?" Joana looked at Raina with new interest. Grandes made a grimace that could spoil the rotten tomatoes.

Ravast looked at the whole scene with amusement. So this is this pirate who he was supposed to spy for governer Ratkey. She looked quite harmless...if not the weapons that she held.
"If you need people, you can always take me too" he said to Joana and winked. "If you need someone with thievery skills."
He laughed lightly.
"I am Ravast. You don't know me and I don't know you but you also don't know this drunk lad out there. You must be really in need..."

Grandes frowned and took Ravast by front of his blouse.

"You are talking about me, elven fiend?" he hissed. He didn't want to harm the elf but once he was suggesting that he is nothing like garbage and twice he was an elf, who he scorned to death.

"Captain, can I throw him by the window?" he looked at Joana.

"No. He can be useful. Good thief is always something useful. But as you said, elf, I don't know you and you don't know me. I will be keeping an eye on you as I am keeping on this...drunk lad" she returned to Raina wainting for her answer.

Ravast smiled charmingly to the rude man and thought that Joana is making a big mistake. He supposed that she has a lot of other members of crew under her already, but still...It will be easier to spy her for governer.

"Fair enough" Joana said. "We don't have a cook on board, so far most of them refused to head where we are heading. So come after me, my crew mates. Yes, you too, elf. I will show you my ship, Royal Fortune."

"Do you feel the fresh breeze from the sea...thought a little bit mixed with the smell of herring..." Joana wrinkled her nose with a disgust. "Sooner we will sail away, sooner I will feel at home."

They went throught the port, ignoring shouts of sailors in front of Joana and Raina and after half an hour they saw their destination - Royal Fortune herself.

"Isn't she magnificent?" Joana asked.

"I still smell herring" Ravast was in good mood. "But the ship looks...nice. Do you have more crew members?"

Grandes burst out laughing.

"Yes, I have crew members. Do you want to meet them now? And remember, I am now your captain, if my quatermaster will hear your jokes, you will be keelhauled." she said it lightly but her voice became more strong at the same time, when she saw her ship.
